This was an excellent book about finding your personal style and making your home a place of comfort and refuge. I actually got the book about ten years ago and read it then, but did not actually do many o Father exercises. Faced with some home renos, I re-read it, doing the exercises before I moved on to the next chapter, and I learned SO MUCH. It was very enlightening, and surprisingly enriching.

This book has a lot of good suggestions for getting a home that works for you and your entire family. There are extensive exercises to help you discover what you like and what you need to make the home function for you. A good read for individuals working on their home decor and for designers looking for ways to get to their client's desired look.
