Gue pernah bikin surat cinta.
Yang isinya bilang kalo gue suka sama kakak kelas gue pas gue kelas 1 smp. Cowok itu kelas 2.
Terus, surat itu gue titipin ke temen baik gue di kelas.
Ngga, suratnya ngga salah alamat kok.
Nyampe beneran ke orangnya.
Tapi ngga ada jawabannya. Huahahahaha..
Kakak kelas gue itu adem-adem aja. Serius bangke banget ngeliatnya. Gue sampe mules menahun gara-gara itu. Kayak ngga terjadi apapun. Mungkin udah ratusan siswi di sekolah itu kali yang pernah nembak dia pake surat makanya dia anteng-anteng aja.
Surprisingly, pas tahun ajaran baru di kelas 2 smp, dia ngga naik kelas. Jadi kami waktu itu ada di level yang sama. Kemudian banyak hal muncul di kepala gue:
1. Bagaimana mungkin gue bisa naksir sama orang yang ternyata ngga pinter dan kemudian ngga naik kelas? Idih ilang feeling.
2. Eh tunggu deh.. Jangan-jangan dia depresi berat gara2 surat yang dulu gue kasih, makanya mogok belajar dan akhirnya ga bisa naek kelas?
3. Ih tapi masa dia ngga malu sih? Kan jadinya dia satu level tuh sama gue..
4. Apa jangan-jangan dia sengaja tidak menaikkan dirinya ke kelas 3 supaya bisa lebih lama lagi bersama gue di tahun ajaran ini?
5. Duh tegor ngga yah?
6. Ah laper. Eh udah jam istirahat.. *ngeloyor ke kantin beli bakwan*
Ya menurut gue cinta bisa dateng kapan aja, dan tumpah kemana aja.
Pernah juga kejadian gue naksir abis sama satu cowok di kelas pas sma, eh yang ngejar-ngejar gue malah temen sebangkunya si cowok itu. Gue sampe mikir, "gimana mungkin sinyal-sinyal cinta yang gue kirimkan bisa belok ke sebelah kiri sih? Jangan-jangan cowo yang gue taksir pake kutang dari serat timah sampe-sampe pesan telekinetis yang gue kirimkan setiap hari memantul dan malah belok menghantam temen sebangkunya dia..."
Lalu membaca cerita di buku ini, klise sih. Surat yang salah alamat. Tapi alur ceritanya bikin gue senyum-senyum. Abisnya alur film komedi romantis banget. Seneng deh gue bacanya.
Dan gue jatuh cinta sama si Adam Lockhartnya. Dia lucu bangeeett..
Surat balasan yang dia tulis lucu dan cerdas banget :D
Such a sweet guy. Dan ngga heran kenapa dia bisa digambarin sweet banget gitu. Secara dia dikelilingin sama orang-orang yang menurut gue keren.
Hampir semua tokoh di buku ini berkesan.
Teenlit banget sih. Ngga ada yang tengil banget, ngga ada yang rese banget.
Ih emangnya sinetron Multivision plus, ya?
Well anyways, smart men take my fancy.
Smart men with great sense of humor amuse me.
And lucky me, I do know one particular man. He's smart, with great sense of humor.
Sekarang gue tinggal berharap, seandainya gue mau mengirimkan pesan-pesan telekinetis pada pria ini, mudah-mudahan sinyalnya ngga belok kemana-mana lagi. Amin :)

So, apparently, it's been four years since I read this for the first time. Honestly, I would have thought that I hadn't read it before (which is probably not a good sign) because I had forgotten a majority of the characters and plot.
I didn't like Jade's friend, Keesha. Lucy was okay, but she didn't actually seem involved all that much in their friendship, but Keesha was like an annoying fly and that just wouldn't go away. I was annoyed by how mean she was to just about everybody. And then her telling Adam what was going on just because she thought Jade wouldn't tell him about the message mix-up was just terrible. That should have been up to Jade on if she wanted to do that or not. All in all, I thought Keesha was a pretty bad friend to all of them.

So Jade put a letter to Zephyr's locker, the one she's crushing on for too long, only did she realize later that Zephyr DIDNT get it, but Adam. This book was really really really sweet.
This is one of my most favorite Young Adult books...sigh.

I thought this book was a great book. I def didnt know it was a series i thought it was just a book by its self but come to find out its the second book to a series but back to the book I though the book was great. I love jade and adam together and i find that they are very cute together. I LOVE jades charater as well. Def remind me of myself and when i was growing up lol. But anyway if you can find the book i would say def give it a read. I have had my book for years so Im not sure if you will be able to find it.. But anyway def read the book. I highly recommend..

Mixed Messages

To whom it may concern, (read the book to find out more about this intro ^)
have you ever heard of mixing up messages as a good thing, even when you hear mixed messages you think of giving the wrong messages to people and thats bad expecially with love letters.But could a mixed message be better or worse for a teenage in the mist of discovering her true self and maybe the furtue for her love relationship. LOVE, lost, confusion, letters, lockers, concerts,art: those are words that describe the book intresting mix isnt it the book shows how these are actually matched together.
This is the second book and i dont think you need to read the first book to read this book it is exciting enouhg by itself and the story just pulls you in little by little.Its exciting how jade gets to finally talk to her crush zephyr but then finds another boy whos a totoally cool mystery.I really liked this book it was a book that had the things that people wished happen and people wish never to happen.
This book i recomend to people who like romance books, real life situations and a twist of excitment.See the different kinds of people can be underneth thier exterior.Or people who want to just find out how Jade's story ends up in despair of hearts.

i read the book long time ago so i don't remember every bits of it but i'll give you some hints. haha. spoiler much?
well, mixed messages is about a girl who has a crush on this boy who is in a band, well i think he is the drummer of the band. anyway, she is about to confess her feelings to the boy using a letter, she will drop it in his locker which she definitely know, haha, so much for being a stalker. Unfortunately, the locker's owner changed, it was now the guitarist of the band named ADAM who owns the locker. the funny thing is that Adam here have a crush on this girl and upon reading her letter, he thought that she feels the same way about her. hahaha!
well, there goes their roller coaster ride on the game of love.\
it's a chick-flick story, it's worthwhile so better read it.
don't worry it's not that boring. :)

Mixed Messages was really cute. I read one of the Love Letter books awhile ago and loved it but didn't get a chance to get ahold of another one...until now obviously. And like the other one, this was wonderful as well.
What I liked about Mixed Messages was the plot and the cuteness of the entire book. There was a bit of a cliche though with the mixed up letter and how it ended up at the wrong person [or maybe the right one depending on how you view it:].
The ending was kind of abrupt though. The rising action was good and did a good job leading up to the climax and such but, like I said, the ending was brief and abrupt.

I have no idea how this book relates to Perfect Strangers.. at all?
But whatever. It's a cute book. At the beginning, I was very very negative about it. These three girls do not act like seniors! I'm a junior in high school and my friends and almost everyone I know acts more maturely and realistically than these three best friends. It was really obvious from the get-go how this book was going to end up. However, [SPOILER:] Jade being with Adam was perfect, and I think he was a way better choice than Zephyr. I wish I knew guys that sweet and thoughtful! I probably wouldn't read it again, but it was a cute "Awww," book. Ending was quick, but nice.

READ IN DUTCH
'n fijne vergissing werd uitgegeven als Tina Topper (ondertussen alweer heel wat jaartjes terug). Dat was ook de reden waarom ik dit boek wilde hebben en gelezen heb. Het verhaal was niet zo bijzonder, maar wel vermakelijk genoeg als tussendoortje. Vooral geschikt denk ik voor meisjes rond een jaar of 12.

A cute, short, and fast read. In the beginning of the book I didn't really care for it. As I got more into the book it became more enjoyable. Even though the book was easy to predict what would happen it still was a fun read.

It was funny and sweet. Jade was a great character so was Adam. In the end they needed each other.
