The Missing Millionaire

Rate this book

Sexy, enigmatic entrepreneur Harrison Trent had secrets. And Jamie Bellman knew the biggest one--his current whereabouts. Because she'd kidnapped him.

Ordinarily the multimillionaire wouldn't object to being held captive by a beautiful woman, but the mysterious Jamie had another think coming if she thought he would submit to her demands.

Going missing was the perfect ploy since Harrison's many secrets--and enemies--were coming back to threaten his life. But when a determined killer targeted them both, Harrison knew he had to make Jamie reveal her motives and who she really was...even if he had to kiss her senseless to find the truth.

I just never got into the plot or the characters.

Millionaire Harrison Trent is kidnapped the night before his wedding to his best friend Zoe. Sounds romantic right? Well, in actuality best friends is as far as their relationship goes, but after watching her baby's daddy be killed right in front of her, Zoe and her baby need his protection.

Despite friends concerns, Harrison never saw anything negative about marrying Zoe and giving her baby his name. Until he met Jamie Bellman. As his feelings grow, he knows he can't marry Zoe, but until everything settles and he talks to her, he's still engaged and he doesn't allow himself to touch Jamie.

Jamie only helped kidnapped Harrison for a favor her adopted father asked of her. A man and his wife who saved her life when they took her in.

Yet when things go bad fast after she and 2 others have Harrison, she knows someone is working against her.

It was really surreal to watch a female be a bodyguard to a male. Jamie was great at what she did and most time Harrison didn't put up a ginormous fit about her risking her life for him, but that made me like him that he respected her career.

Finding multiple bodies leads them to Harrison's biological father, whom he's never seen and had hoped to continue never too, but his father's connection with the illegal side of the law seems like a good conclusion to seek.

His father turns out to not be the one they should have worried about. On his death bed, Victor DiMarko really does just want to meet his youngest son and now help in any way. It's his half siblings who have a problem with the 'Bastard' coming in and claiming their part of the inheritance.

Putting all that together they have the answer, but before actions are mad, Jamie is taken and reenforces his love for her. It takes Victor showing to control his out of control family and Jamie is safe.

Despite her hard childhood, Harrison has climbed over her defensive walls. He's shown her how to love again. Now, she can achieve her next dream with him by her side.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I read through some of the reviews and I see that people felt something was missing or they just couldn't get into the story. In order to understand this book you would have had to read Bodyguard to the Bride which introduces you to many of the characters in The Missing Millionaire.

Dani Sinclair is amazing and these books together are awesome.

Loved this book. Plenty of action and it only took me a couple of days to read it; just couldn’t put it down it was so good. The twist at the end was so unexpected I never guessed who was behind it all.

One of the better intrigue books I have read! I loved the banter between the two main characters! But, The ending was a little abrupt!
