Look What's Missing

Publishers are removing things from new Bibles!

Publishers of modern Bible versions have been removing words, phrases, and even whole verses, but their readers are often unaware of it. Few people know the Bible well enough to notice when something has been taken out.

But the results are hard to believe. The removal of one tiny word turns Jesus into a liar. Callers into Christian talk shows have even used this to say that it’s okay for a Christian to lie. After all, they say, Jesus did it. A verse that’s completely missing from some of the most popular Bibles available today completely removes one of the basic doctrines found in every evangelical church. When David Daniels shows this one to people they just stand with their mouths open and say, “I can’t believe it!” In another case, Jesus’ own words are removed, taking out a famous phrase in which Jesus explains why He came to earth. People react with: “They took out Jesus words! How can they do that?”

This information has been right under our noses for years, but no one has ever taken the time to cull through this many Bible versions and find the missing parts. Author David Daniels did the research and now releases his results for the Christian world to see what is really missing. How about your Bible? Is it on the list of Bibles with pieces taken out? You might be surprised when you look at what’s missing.

I give this 5 stars because it absolutely and completely fulfills it's purpose in a clear and readable manner. It is an easy read, but it is filled with factual and important information for those who love the word of God and do not want to use or support the corruption of His word in the new bible versions.

This is a great introduction to the issue of Bible translations and why all Bible believers will want to stay true to the King James Bible. Our local church has given out nearly 50 copies over the past couple of years and we plan to continue doing so when new believers or new members show up.

The scope and detail of this book is amazing and shows just how perverted/corrupted Bibles have become and why we should just have the KJV alone as THE FOUNDATIONAL BIBLE. I look forward to his detailed evaluation of the NKJV.

It is astonishing that the authors of the revisions have been so brazen and seemingly got away with the assasination

A great and very basic introduction to the differences among Bible Translations and what is at stake. A good book to present a comparison among many translations and know what the history is behind most.

Only the KJV for me

I picked this book because I wanted better answers to something that I already knew deep down inside of myself. I just could not explain it. So when I got into this book it gave me the answers that I needed and with the help of this book I can help others see the error in their ways.

Daniels lists why Bibles based on Alexandrians texts are wrong. Also, what's wrong with seminaries today and its foundations of doubts in those Bibles. Explains what's missing on those Bibles and why is dangerous to the christian faith.

Excelente Read!

This is a very eye-opening book! It outlines exactly what verses are missing when other manuscripts are used. It also explains why the Textus Receptus is a superior manuscript. Very informative!

This was a fantastic read & a real eyeopener for anyone that uses other English translations of the Bible other than the King James! I didn't realize what other English translations were not just missing but how they all actually changed the meanings of much of the scriptures & got a better & deeper understanding of the importance of using the King James version of the Holy Bible over all other English translations using logical reasoning of the facts. Everything is laid out & backed up completely with footnotes & sources. I highly recommend reading this book no matter if you are a new Christian or been a Christian for 50 years you WILL learn something new about the TRUTH of the Word of God.

The book provides some good reference information, and it explains what the problems are with the texts used in non-KJV translations.

That being said, it gets a one-star deduction in that it omits any discussion of the New King James Version, which promotes itself as KJV updated, but others (and Daniels includes himself among them) disagree with that statement. If NKJV is as flawed as the others, then it should have been included in the discussion. (After all they included The New World Translation, which is nothing but the Jehovah's Witnesses attempt to make the Bible fit their predetermined views, so why is it mentioned and not a translation used in the public arena?)

So informative and sobering! Love how Daniel , this author, talks about his plea and desire to hold fast to the King James Version as it is God’s Pure and Holy Word and not to want to stand in front of Jesus one day believing in versions that added or took away God’s Word laid out in the Bible , in the King James Version, as God warned about that in Deuteronomy and Revelation. Daniel also encouraged me in creating in me a desire to trust more in one Bible , which is the King James Version , than to trust in other versions and translations of the Bible that create doubt and take out important words and phrases that God has said by providing solid proof.

Excellent book revealing what's missing in modern translations

Many of the words, phrases, verses and even chapters missing from modern translations are doctrinal and foundations to the deity of Christ. This little book only points 257 things that have been removed or changed, most notably John 7:8 that makes Jesus a liar.

Believing the Whole Bible

It's so important for any student of the Bible to know what really happened with the culmination of the Bible into what we know today as the KJV.
