Norrath has plunged into darkness, but life and honor cling tenaciously. Hope for renewal rests with the brave, the wise, and the adventurous. But others wish Norrath to suffer exquisitely. The time of its remaking is nigh. Through pain and power, chaos will sear the world so that the fierce and the visionary may rise to rule.
EverQuest II is the continuing story of the hugely successful online gaming phenomenon. The online version is setting new standards in MMORPGs and likewise the new EverQuest II Player's Guide creates a new standard. Published under the Open Game License, it features a streamlined system that is 100% compatible with Open Gaming material. Sixteen races, 28 character classes, and a new Norrath will appeal to gaming veterans as well as a whole new generation of gamers.
I started writing in the iron age of roleplaying games, back in about 1986, writing material for FASA's Battletech before moving on to other products like Shadowrun, Bard Games' Talislanta, and TSR's second edition of Dungeons and Dragons. More recently I've done product development for White Wolf/Sword and Sorcery Studios' Scarred Lands setting and for Frog God Games. My new supernatural thriller trilogy The Shepherd is coming soon from Permuted Press, and is available for pre-order through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Play and Simon and Schuster. I look forward to hearing from readers here and on my blog, so feel free to drop me a line if you're so inclined!
What more can be said? This is the Player's Guide for the pen and paper version of the EverQuest Role-Playing Game. It's as amazing as the MMORPG, and does an excellent job of translating the online role-playing game to the table top. The immense size of the book itself also carries it's own level of impressiveness.

Now, if I can only find a group of people to play with...
