A faithful, helpful summary of Calvin's Five Points. I've given copies to a number of friends and acquaintances who have been curious to know more about Calvinism and the Reformed faith.
David Engelsma's chapter on the perseverance of the saints is by far the best in this book; if you do not read any other part of the book, be sure to read this chapter. The other chapters, however, descend all too quickly into crass polemics against common grace and the well-meant offer. They do so to the point that they do not really do justice to the topics they are supposed to be covering, and if it had not been for the final chapter I would have given this book a two-star rating. I read the in a free Kindle edition, which may be obtained from here: http://www.cprf.co.uk/bookstore/fivep...
