Thoroughbreds are racing horses, but not all thoroughbreds race. Thoroughbreds can get hurt easily or can get cut easily. Thoroughbreds get scared easily, and they need soft, gentle care. People use thoroughbreds to play polo, and thoroughbreds make great family pets (we are not getting this for a pet, Alex - Daddy). Thoroughbreds are usually calmer when they stop racing. -by Alexander
