The air in the room grew suddenly cold and someone said the conditions were good for the spirits to contact us. We sat there with our hands held out, palms up, as this is supposed to be the source of the energy force that goes towards the medium. There was an air of expectancy. Suddenly the curtain around the medium opened and a strange face showed itself. I will never forget that face. It was very white and etheric-looking. It was certainly not the face of the medium. When I saw it I prayed in my heart, 'God, thank you for showing me life after death.' Little did I know that I had come face to face with a demon of the Prince of Darkness! Ben Alexander is a former spiritualist medium who came face to face with the demons of the Prince of Darkness. Only through the Word of God was Ben able to be rescued from a "fate worse than death". Ben now travels the globe warning about the evils of the spirit world by sharing his firsthand experiences with Satanic demons.
the first 2/3rds of this book is a fascinating autobiography of a man who spent the first part of his life seraching for meaning in spiritualist circles only to be disheartened and lost, he then became a Christian and spent the rest of his life trying to educate about the inability of spiritualism to offer real hope or answers. in the final section of the book, the author goes on to explain why other life ideologies are also vapid however it is evident the author does not have the real life experience in some of these other areas that make his arguments agasnt spiritism so robust. i did meet the author as a young teenager, and he left quite an impression on me. so much so that i searched his book out and read it 30 some years later.
Ben Alexander spoke at a camp I had attended many years ago and he made a lasting impression on me. This book is an eye opener and it really frightened me. The occult is not something to take lightly.
