I have read many books from the prolific writer Wesley Donahue and they are all interesting, accurate and useful. In Leading and Managing Complex Projects, he explains in his usual simple and straightforward way how any business owner or manager can lead teams in order to complete a particular project over a determined period of time. It sounds simple but managing and coordinating a certain number of people and making them work towards a common objective requires a lot of planning, time-management abilities, and leadership.
The book approaches this issue from different angles and covers all the concepts that are essential to running a project. It is practical and provides many detailed and easy exercises that help readers understand and finally acquire the skills they need to succeed as project managers. This book is very well written and I recommend it.
