What does it take to be Jesus, today?
A lot.
Pastor Marc Estes tells a fictional story of a man named Dave Finley who embarks on a journey to become more like Christ. Throughout the book, Estes weaves the fictional story with Biblical truths and life applications that the reader is to reflect on. What would our lives be like if we lived like Jesus Christ? What would our world be like if we shared the love of Christ? Questions like these, and many more, stay in my mind after having finished this book. But one remains above them all; are we truly motivated to reach the lost and hurting, or are we motivated only by our self-interests?

This book challenged me in my way of life and how I interact with people. Really pointed out the urgency of life and how every opportunity God gives us He gives it for a reason. We have a life to live. Will you make it count for something?
