Finally forced myself to finish this super boring book by reading a chapter each day after lunch at work. When I began the book few years ago, I found it okay, a bit preachy yes, but I thought there were some words of wisdom which I could imbibe. It's essentially about creating change in your life through 'little' shifts in your attitude and choices. However, this book goes about stating the same premise over and again, to the point it begins to annoy you. Self-help books often help reiterate what you already know, but for some reason don't practise or forget to practice. So I try and give them a shot. But this particular self-help book (gifted to me) became a bit too tedious and I had to try really hard to read the words while not thinking of something else. It was senseless and I'd say avoidable!

Percayalah!
9) We have two choices in life: growth or atrophy. Nothing remains static. Life changes happen with or without your participation.
10) Aku percaya kau takkan rugi bila baca buku ini. Banyak benda kau boleh belajar. Selamat membaca !
Filled with activities and ideas on making little shifts in your life. It would be interesting to see an updated version given how that intervening years have been.
This is boring. But I wanted to believe there are gems of nuggets that I can take away from these pages. So I forced myself to keep reading. When I got to the end of the book, there wasn't much I gained. Really not much.
