This book was much better than the previous one and more in line with the earlier ones in this series. The last one must have been a little blip!
With the curse still hanging over January and Teran's head, they are all a bit closer to confronting the witch who cast it on their family hundreds of years ago. Will she be amenable to their wishes of ridding them of the curse or does she still hold a grudge?
As well as the curse, January has so many issues to deal with this time round, from creepy astral worms, to scary ghosts and snake entities, to skeletons hidden in a backyard well. Add on to that a constant weird feeling of being watched and January seems to be at her wit's end. When the doctor delivers some not so good news, it appears to be all January can do is to get through each day.
I really did feel for January in this one as so much seemed to be happening to her and there didn't appear to be much she could do to stop any of it. I'm so surprised she didn't have a complete meltdown! Just glad that she has a great many friends and family members who are there for her every step of the way!
Looking forward to reading the next one soon and seeing how January moves forward with everything now (just wish she would leave all thought of Ellison behind her though! Move on from him! He was no good for her then; he's no good for her now, so forget all about him!)

I love this series! January and her group of friends and family are awesome! This is a tough book for January to get through, but wow does Galenorn it all the right notes.
One of the things I really enjoy about Galenorn's series and how wonderfully intricate they can be. She masterfully weaves a very complicated web between series and books that I love to follow.
January and Killian are two very strong characters so when January's life is in danger it's Killian that can help her learn to step back.

Outstanding Paranormal Series!
Cursed Web, book #9 in the Moonshadow Bay series by Yasmine Galenorn, is an adventure from start to finish!
Had I not had to attend a meditation class, I'd have finished it in one day!
As always, Ms. Galenorn creates an urban fantasy world that is so detail filled that I wish I were there , too!
Ms. Galenorn is one of the best paranormal powerhouses out there !
Her writing is unparalleled, and filled with so much compassion and passion.
I've read everything she writes, and always will!

Amazing!!!
Cursed Web finds January and Killian excited for their wedding and January onto another case with Conjure Ink. She is also trying to break the curse that has been put onto the women of January's family. Add to the mix another haunted house and a snake "latched" onto you and it like another day in the office. But, this case becomes much more personal for January and Killian.
With each Moonshadow Bay book tje characters are growing and always evolving. The storyline and imagination for this series in incredible.

love it … sad & happy
After reading this .. loving January’s life is moving forward… recognizing that she can’t be superwoman and take care of everything .. hits with me and I’m sure others … such a good story, but so many things I want to know more about … ugh can’t wait for the wedding!!

A lot to unpack
There was a lot that happened in this book and more that still needs to be unpacked. January's story somehow got more complicated! I was left wanting more because there is so much unknown we were left with in this book. Without spoiling anything I am glad we had some matters figured out. I just want more!

Emotional
On one hand, January is able to free her family from a centuries plus long curse. On the other, she's now facing a life of disability because of her lack of use of magic while growing up. She's surrounded by family and friends who love her so I hope to see her fight and maybe even overcome this new obstacle while continuing to investigate the paranormal.

Always entertaining!
I always enjoy Yasmine's novels. When I need something to read, and want to know I'll enjoy it, I turn to any book in any series she releases and I know its a safe bet. This series is another guaranteed enjoyable read. The books are down to earth and fun, and well worth the time. They enable one to escape to another world, one many of us wish were real.

Life changes
The whirlwind is real & our heroine now has to face major changes in her life. Of course that doesn't stop the gang from taking on more dangerous entities. The good news is the team is bonding well and we just have to wait & see how it works out.

I love this Series
The story is amazing. Lots of elements expertly woven together. Real people, feelings, friendships and nurturing families. The locations and events are fascinating and pull me in every time. Ms. Galenorn never disappoints!

A fantastic addition to the series.
The characters are wonderful and evolving. The plot is twisty and intense. The world building is superb with the landmarks in the right places. I can't wait to read the next book!

Ended too soon
I really like this series, but this one is lacking. Anti-climactic, to say the least. The case they were investigating was not resolved. The other plot was resolved much too easily. And yes, heretofore perfect Killian was a bit too controlling.
