Very helpful aide to use in doing Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. The title of this book is somewhat misleading; based on my experience, regular one-on-one meetings with a good Spiritual Director is still absolutely essential to getting the full benefit of this process.

If you do not have time to do a 30 day silent retreat, this is a great alternative. To go through this properly would take an hour or two a day. I was not able to devote this much time, but I still got much out of the book.

Ravier presented the format of exercises in a very straightforward manner. Using the original exercises would serve just as well, for the authors' comments were unusually brief and did not expound upon the points in enough detail for me.
