WEATHER REPORT TOO TOUGH. also pucci is becoming one of my fav villains. after having such a meh one in diavolo it is SOOOOO refreshing to see a well thought out one. joelyn is one of the best joestars. hermes is such a great jobro. part 6 is so fucking good and hermes backstory UGH MY QUEEN
this is from where the anime left off i think… all i got to say is that weather report is fine ash and i cant wait to see what kind of villain pucci develops into. jojo’s has such good villains!!!
Man, this volume had a lot of fantastic moments. Jolyne and Pucci come face to face. Pucci and Dio. Jolyne gets to the courtyard, only to be attacked by a cop. The frogs. Jolyne finally getting the disc out and getting one over on White Snake. It's just intense moment after intense moment with this volume.
We also get some background for Hermes, which is nice to see. Her and Jolyne have both been failed by the justice system, only to be thrown into the living hell that is prison. And now Pucci is using that system to his advantage in order to act out his plot. So the idea of both Jolyne and Hermes trying to strike back from within the belly of the beast, trying to get revenge on those who have used the prison industrial complex to their advantage- it's awesome. And then I hear the protagonists of part 7 want to kill *spoilers*. Hell yeah.
And the volume wraps up with Limp Bizkit. I'm starting to think that I'm just burnt out on stand battles, because this is a pretty cool power and people are getting fucked up. So maybe this is a me problem. Either way it's still fun and I want to see what comes next.

The first half of this volume covered where the anime ends so we got to see Jolyne kick ass and also being very smart in her actions. I see more and more Joseph's smart traits and quick thinking in Jolyne and thats really cool. Jolyne's determination also reflected much of Jotaro's personality and i love this daughter and father connection.
The second half focused on Hermes Costello's side of story and her confrontation with an enemy from the past. It was very interesting to see their fights.
so much happened in this volume omg…jotaro got his stand disc and weather report made frogs rain and ermes backstory is being explored. my thoughts have not changed
