This was a fun volume, I like the conclusion of Hermès revenge mini-arc, the transition to a new arc was also good, Jolyne keeps on kicking butts and it looks awesome.
Annasui got himself bigger screen time and it was exciting, I like his design.

This volume rocks! Limp Bizkit ends with a zombie bash monster mash. Hermes goes ham, tanking some gruesome damage that would make Jonathan proud.
And then we get into the ultra security arc, which is shaping up to be great. Giorno and other characters in Golden Wind talked about resolve all the time, but Jolyne's resolve hits on a visceral level that left more of an impression on me than anything in Part 5.
At this point, it feels like the plot has some welcome forward momentum. It's highly likely that Sports Max has used his ability to create ghost zombie Dio. Meanwhile, Pucci is trying to bring the real Dio back from the dead. And then there's this race against time where Jolyne is trapped in the maximum security ward with multiple stand users who have been sent into a blind rage. There's this awesome sense of urgency and mystery as to what will come next. I'm excited to read on.
Getting more specific, Jolyne vs Westwood has really appealed to my specific tastes. Rather than interacting specific power sets, this fight has started out with straight up martial arts. Jolyne has one of my favorite character designs, period. And seeing her in these fighting stances is just badass. Moreso than your stereotypical tough guys like Jotaro or Guts. Stone Free still has a role to play, but it's for the sake of enhancing the martial arts- not overshadowing them. It's simple, it's more low key, it's more grounded. But this fight has been a nice change of pace given the hundreds of chapters of over the top stand battles we've seen.
This has been one of my favorite volumes of Jojo.

Con este tomo puedo consolidar a Hermes Costelo como uno de mis personajes favoritos, más que nada por sus motivaciones, sintiendo que me identifico con estas, más por el sentimiento que posee al inicio del tomo.
La resolución me pareció más que curiosa, interesante, aunque algo en mi interior me hace creer que estas circunstancias por las que viven las chicas son más complicadas que lo que vivieron los Jojos en otras partes, pero puede que sea mi idea un tanto errónea. La situación actual de Jolyne, y la aparición de un personaje a pesar de no estar vivo en la actualidad siempre es una sorpresa.

Zombies, peleas, amores, promesas, heridas, mucha emoción. Es entretenido este volumen, explicando también la forma en como podría Dio volver a la vida, ¿o algo así? Si bien es entretenido, debo admitir (ya leyendo parte del siguiente volumen) que estoy en una de las peleas más gores y buenas de todo Jojos. Quizá estoy exagerando, pero eso siento.

It had highs such as Annasui and Hérmes’ arc. But it had some rough lows too, like the battle royale at the end alongside something about Dio’s bone. Which was mentioned early on but suddenly became important.

coming back into this after a little and i am enjoying it!! loved seeing hermès’ revenge wrap up and her getting to take it out on sports max. i love her so much she could kill me and i’d say thank you. but anyways the plot is thickening and i’m once again deep in hell with this series :)))
