I still look the same—with the same wrinkles, with more white in my gray hair—and I’m still sometimes a little unsteady on my feet. But I don’t feel the same. I feel good, stimulated, and rewarded. Young."

I enjoyed this book, Phyllis's love of family and friends and her sense of humor. I will try and find her 1st and her last book also, because I think I would like to read how her journey as a writer began after becoming a widow, and how her final years were, with her daughter helping to tell her stories.

Wonderful mother-daughter reading - I read this to my mom a few years ago after her eye surgery. It was wonderful to read a chapter and then reflect on memories each of us had in our growing up years. We made great comparisons and it was fun to see how she remembered some of my youth so differently than I did.
