The Shifter's Mate

Rate this book
Serenity thinks she'll never find love dealing with her sisters and a mother whose spell went awry leaving her in spirit form for most of each month. The man Serenity chooses must not be ordinary because Serenity must protect her family's secret, that they are from a line of powerful witches. When she meets Jon, the sexy vet who helps her with her little pooch, Serenity wants him so badly, she'll take the risk in making him her lover. But while Serenity is hiding who she is, Jon has a secret too. He's trying to find the right moment to tell her that he is a panther shape shifter, and he can clearly see her ghostly mother. Trouble is just beginning for the two of them with all the family matters, but no matter what happens, Jon is determined to have Serenity as his mate.

This is a erotic shifter romance story about a witch named Serenity and a Panther Shifter named Jon. Serenty's family feel that normal men are beneath them since they are powerful Witches and want to preserve their "pure" bloodline. Serenity is Jon's fated Mate and they fall in love even though Serenity's family meddles a lot to try and get them to break up. This was a short tale that I enjoyed. The book ended in a way that leads you to believe there is a sequel. This is perfect for a quick afternoon read. It took a little over an hour to finish.

The plot was okay. A lot of mistakes in spelling and grammar. I rolled my eyes throughout the entire book. It seemed really rushed. It wasn't worth the $5 or so I spent.
