Joe Colombo: Inventing the Future

Rate this book
joe colombo was one of the most notable and successful designers of the 1960s. in 1971 colombo died of heart failure at the height of his career. this book is the first major title on colombo in a number of years. based on an exhibition developed by the vitra design museum in conjunction with studio joe colombo in milan the end result is an exceptional work containing images and a number of excellent essays including a notable one by his assistant ignatzia favata.I remember the last title on colombo in paperback. we sold out quickly and were never able to get one for our library. get one while they last- colombo conceptually and production-wise is one of the greats. pp. 301to see more from joe columbo here.
