"I didn't believe in ghosts, not until I became one."Schuyler Ramsey just wants to be like the other kids in school. Too bad she’s dead. Her ghost haunts a farm in windswept western Ireland, along with some of its previous inhabitants. When she partially materializes in front of her sister at breakfast, she is propelled on a quest to stop a fake TV psychic from visiting the farm and stirring up trouble. Along the way, she visits a famous pirate, helps a mermaid rescue a basking shark from fishermen, and encounters Nicniven, queen of the dark elphs. But Schuyler soon finds that the Haunted Planet television show is the least of her problems. As her world unravels, can she find the strength to save her sister from a demonic evil?

Earthbound was an unexpected surprise. It is the second book I've read by Artemis Greenleaf and was an entertaining book. While predictable, everything flowed well and a good story flowed throughout. You certainly begin to feel for Schuyler Ramsey, the narrator and main character of the story. His plight of being a five year old ghost for the rest of his afterlife is well written and I couldn't help but wish for some happiness to come his way. I'd recommend it to readers young and old who enjoy the Celtic setting and are looking for an entertaining summer read.

I almost loved this book. I wish there was more of Schuyler's adventures with Una and Conall while she was earth bound. At least, I would like to know if Schuyler made it Up and her initial thoughts about it.

This book is interesting, and would be a good book for kids to enjoy. I found myself wondering what I would do in little Schuyler's situations. This book has a little bit of everything in it: fantasy, action, good, evil, and might even make you tear up towards the end.

Earthbound is the best humanistic ghost story I've ever come across.
Loved it and highly recommend for a light, easy listen.
