A Vampire Berserker

Rate this book
Being a vampire and being allergic to blood isn't a good mix. Our hero finds himself in such a predicament, and prepares for the inevitable. Yet through it all he may yet find an answer to his problem, and maybe, just maybe he can live the life of an immortal. This story evolved from my short tale "Horny Vampire."

I was born In Hull, Yorkshire, England in 1956. I started to write at the age of 44 in the year 2000 and I wasn't very good. I slowly learned over the years that followed, mainly from people online who gave up their time to help me. I chose to write imaginative things and sometimes allowed my own imagination to get away from me. I started with erotic tales before going onto more serious stuff, although having said that my erotic stories have been popular.

I liked the idea behind the story but the execution is lacking. I'm really struggling to express my thoughts. I believe in constructive criticism not destroying someone's attempts. I would think that this story was more of a rough draft than a final product. We were told everything not shown and that takes so much away from the imagery and visuals. The author also went back and forth between first person and third. That was completely distracting and lead to a great deal of confusion. I finished the tale because I believe its important to respect what the author has done. Unfortunately the lack of details and writing style lead to me not being a fan. I didn't fall for the characters and I didn't feel their passion. If the author worked the story over and made some changes I would reread it but as it stands I would not be interested in reading more.
