Pal Benko From his early years in war-torn Hungary to his legendary chess competitions, this autobiography and game collection features details on the Grandmaster's myriad openings, middlegame positions, and strength in the endgame. Photos & game diagrams. Full description
One of the best and most interesting biographies of chess grandmasters. The book is a very good read (Benko had quite a life) and provides ample material for Benko players. At the end an extra section on openings and his studies. One of the best chess books in my library.
