Suzanne never believed that she was the type of woman who would allow herself to be dominated by a man, even if he was as strong-willed and intense as she was herself. So as she dangled naked in a dimly-lit room and stared into the eyes of the man who was tasked with breaking her will at any cost, she was quietly confident that he could not win.

But as Sasha slowly stripped away her defenses and drew her into his world of passion, pain and intense pleasure, Suzanne found that she needed to choose between the job she was duty-bound to complete, and the dark side of her nature that Sasha had so easily awakened.

Complete winner for me. If you like erotic non-con check this one out. Warning: this is true non-con in that she is captured and raped. She does, however, fall in lust with her torturer and she enjoys some of what he does (not all). If you ever wanted to be a spy and thought about what it would be like to be captured in enemy territory and tortured....and if somehow that person who was torturing you turned out to arouse you and you liked him....well then this book is really a must buy.

I loved how she was strong and she didn't give in on the physical things but she couldn't withstand the sexual stuff - and the way he whispered in her ear. I have a total fetish for a Dominant who can whisper in my ear because that gravely voice spoken softly can make me do just about anything and go wild with desire.

For those who want more sex this one is heavy on torture and not so much on sex - but it does have it.

It's short - I would love to read similar stories if anyone knows of any. I absolutely freakin' got into the ending too. Bravo!

This book is listed as dark romantic erotica however I felt that the torture in the book isn't my idea of dark erotica. The book is a short story and starts off with Suzanne, who lands in enemy territory and is being chased by Sasha, a Serbian sniper.
After Sasha captures her, he is given the task of interrogating Suzanne. Sasha uses sex and torture as his means to do it. Suzanne finds out she is turned on by the pain and starts to enjoy the domination. So there you have it. If you enjoy a book that it brutal, dark and non consensual you may enjoy this one. Personally, I didn't find there was much of anything in this book that I actually enjoyed!

This book was a kindle freebie.

I have been reading this story for over 6 years now, and it's always fantastic.

I also always wish there was a continuation.

I'm not really sure how one categorizes this book; it is a combat suspense with elements of romance. Driven by the inherent danger in mixed gender combat situations, it doesn't shy away from the brutal reality. This is not a fluffy, sweet romance where men are heroic and women are cherished. This is ugly, violent and confusing...and I loved it. It takes a difficult intersection of two lives that are polemic in their loyalties and goals and plays the hard cards. My one gripe about the book is that it ends before the final external conflict is resolved though our protagonists have.

It does have a happy ending for those who can take the brutal beating upfront.

Very good for what it is, a taboo read that manages to both thrill and shock. Because it was so decently written, I wanted more than just this snippet. I'd have loved to read a more serious attempt, a better-plotted book by this author, preferably also starring a fucked up Slav soldier like Sasha (and a lot more hunting & chasing, har!). Alas, she's gone *poof*. So there's only Hunted, that managed to make an impression despite its boorish approach to torture and incredulous romanticization.

This was recommended by several fellow BDSM group members. Not sure what to expect I read it thinking that it was just a "role-playing" interrogation setting. NOT SO! This was written to be non con and what men to women soldiers. Honestly, I thought he went a little light on her. I'm surprised by the lack of anal violation and the lack of bodily mutilation. I see that several others mentioned the torture was too much. I actually thought the author went light and glossed over what could really happen. There was no water boarding either.

Back to the story, Sasha (Alexander) is a sniper who captures Suzanne. Suzanne is on a mission and apparently it's in Serbia. Who the HELL goes into Serbia? Oh right, the military. (What country was this from because US hasn't done squat there.) Suzanne is beaten and tortured for information. Unfortunately, Sasha is sexy, dominating and arouses Suzanne. She is one sick puppy. And apparently so am I. This violent and sadistic story turned me on. The utter non-con of it was hot. This is obviously a BDSM Fantasy category as none of this is SSC or even RACK. Still, interrogation is one of the ones I'm a bit afraid of yet it is so alluring. This story hit it out of the ball park for me on interrogation and kidnapping. Now, obviously this is just a story so I'm safely in my bed reading it with depraved delight.

Ms. Connor was able to make this story erotic for me and I wish she wrote more books. It looks like it's been almost five years since she wrote this one. A pity. I recommend this to all the BDSM readers who enjoy hot M/f non-con.

I love this story. I love the violence, the intensity, the passion--it's an absolute winner for me. Mr. Connor has done an excellent job creating passion amidst a hostile atmosphere. Sasha is HOT! I would love to be his prisoner any day.

This review was sponsored by Behind the Chintz Curtain. You can still read it over there - come on, you know you want to...

Have you ever thought that Behind Enemy Lines would have been way cooler if Gene Hackman’s character weren’t in it, Owen Wilson’s part was played by a girl, and she was actually captured? Welcome to Hunted.

Suzanne is a women on a mission. Go in, meet up with her contact, and take out the bad guys. One guy in particular on her list was a notorious torturer named Aleksandr.

Sasha is a guy doing a job. He captures the intruder and then is tasked with making her talk. He may not love what he does but he is very good at it. Oh, and Sasha is actually a nickname. In certain circles he is better known as Aleksandr.

But here’s where it gets really interesting. Suzanne was a submissive - she had never been with a Dom who could make her realize that. Sasha was a Dom - he had never been with a submissive who could help him figure that out. Until now.

She is there to make sure he ends up dead. He is supposed to make her talk and then dispose of her. Can two mismatched people find love in the middle of a war zone?

This is not your typical romance. It isn’t your typical BDSM novel - you won’t find any safewords here. But it is a novel about two capable people who want to find a way to make something work where you never would think it would.

I'm not opposed to violence in my erotica, I just want it to be a bit more realistic than what I got in this story. Not that the brutality wasn't realistic, but that the h was able to get turned on right after being beaten, bloody, and raped until she bled. That just doensn't ring true for me.

Suzanne (h) is running for her life. Her mission is busted and the enemy is on her trail. If they catch her she knows she'll be tortured for the information that she has. However she's tough and it will take alot for her to break.

Sasha (H) know's he'll catch her but he's enjoying the chase, kinda playing with her at the moment. When he's finished toying with her, then the real fun will begin. He's the top man for getting information out of a captive and boy is he looking forward to doing his job with this one.

The more Suzanne continues to take the torture that Sasha is dealing her, the more respect he has for her. He knows once he breaks her she is his for the keeping and that's just what he's going to do, he'll keep her as his sex slave and never let her go.

There really isn't that much sex in this one, it's more torture (beating after beating type of thing). I don't know if I'll read more from this author or not. =(

Although, I did enjoy this short read I really wished it had been longer and more detailed. Then again, I only read the Literotica version so I'm not sure how the published book differs. Some of the violence was a bit much for me but not too off-putting. It is non-con, after all. The sex and sexual dialogue was definitely to my liking. I enjoyed the character progression and the way Sasha's attitude changed a bit when the pressure of being a torturer was off. My only real complaint is that I wish it could have been a full-length novel because I think it could have been better written in that form. I'll have to read the next two in the series. :)

I loved this story. Suzanne is a soldier who gets captured behind enemy lines. To gain her information, she is tortured and raped by the enemy's torture expert. But Sasha and Suzanne feel an unexpected attraction for each other. I liked the heroine and the "hero" in this book. As a soldier, Suzanne is very strong and does not give up her secrets until she knows she has no choice to survive, but she still keeps a few cards up her sleeve. Sasha, a sniper as well as a person who can torture information from prisoners, admires Suzanne's strength. This is a very dark novel with rape and beatings. Not recommended if such content is a trigger for someone.

This was a reread and I loved it just as much the first time as I did the second. Do not read the book if you do not want to read about nonconsensual sex but the book presents its storyline and characters as real in their thoughts and feelings. It is a current story- set in present time- and while it goes beyond erotic into forbidden territory, you can't help to understand the actions of the heroine when she meets her match with our sadistic anti-hero. Satisfactory ending to a difficult story to write. Although I caught a few errors in the story, they are forgivable.

I was going through some old books I bought years ago and enjoyed this story. There are trigger warnings as the hero rapes her repeatedly. He suspects she is a spy and very brutally interrogates her.

Good story

Good story if you like the darker side of things. The sex scenes were raw. They kept me warm in all the right places.

Dark
Almost scary, and definitely toward the more gruesome end of the genre spectrum.
Not sure if the female main was truly in love or suffering from Stockholm syndrome.
