I had very low expectations for this book going into it but I ended up being quite pleasantly surprised! In fact, I ended up finishing it in one single sitting! I really enjoyed the concept of the Fallen Angels and found myself completely captivated by it. My only complaint about this book is that at some points the writing made me cringe because it was so terrible. There were also quite a few grammar, punctuation and spelling mistakes that quite annoyed me. But all in all I did very much enjoy the story!

Review for Bitten By Paranormal Romance

Awesome Read!

I love the mythical world of the Nephilim (half angel/half human), or better known in the bible as “The Watchers”. Each time I read a book about The Watchers I learn something new about them and this author has definitely done her homework with the history behind these Nephilim by adding the rules and consequences of engagement between Angels and humans.

I truly loved and enjoyed reading this book. The author’s writing was easy to follow and not once did I get bored. I actually couldn’t put the book down because of all the action and excitement of what was going to happen next definitely captured and intrigued me right away. This first book was full of a lot of information about the Nephilim and because of that I believe the next books in this series will be remarkable good.

The romance was flirty and sweet in the fact that the book was more about Eli proving that Ryden was his soul mate and in order to do that he is cast back into time before Eli and Ryden were intimate but when he kisses her, flashes of him making love to her along with vision of him with his wings spread and wrapped around her as he bites her with his fangs below her breast as if marking and bonding her are brought forward into her memory as if in a da’ja’vu. The memory startles her but does it save Eli in the end from the punishment of the Elders or will the demon assassins kill them before the end of Ol’Hallows Eve?

A must read to find out and I promise you will not be disappointed. I promise you will want to know more about each character as they find their true soul mate in order to save their souls from damnation and like I do will look forward to read the next book coming out called “Lucca: Warriors for the Light Bound by Hatred ~ Freed by Love”.

Fantastic book. I loved this new world. It was a can't put down story. The only negative thing I can say in relation to this is I wish we'd get Gideon's story next rather than Lucca's, but I look forward to reading more stories set in this world. Absolutely loved all the reference information in the back. Go buy this book now! It is at a fantastic price and you won't regret spending time reading it.

I like her style and portrayal of the hero especially. Only regret I had was that it was too short!

Clare's Review

Eli is a watcher – a half angel half human – fighting for the right to live with the woman he loves. A human. Stripped of his powers and his wings and granted a day to make Ryden fall in love with him again, he soon realizes it’s not going to be as easy as it seems. Especially with a bounty on his head.

Ms. Nutt has written an intriguing story with never a dull moment. A relatively short story, I needed complete silence to read as it required some concentration. The first couple of pages consist of a long list of glossary terms, which I duly read. These then got repeated – with the same explanations - during the first few pages of the novel as the terms came up. The head hopping mid-scene is little disconcerting at times and another reason I ended up reading this one at 3am when the kids weren’t around. Eli and Ryden’s story is the first in a series and in a way it would have been nicer to have seen more of them, rather than concentrating on the reason Eli was banished in the first place.

What a great story!! Eli is considered a Fallen Angel known as a Watcher, part Angel and part human. His kind are forbidden to befriend humans, although they live among them. But Eli has done the unthinkable - he has fallen in love with a human (Ryden O'Sullivan) and revealed his true self to her. When he is brought before his elders, he insists he has found his soul mate, and he is given a challenge to prove this. But there are others that don't want him to succeed. Ryden O'Sullivan is a waitress who has been serving Eli Gregori for the past year. Ryden and Eli are wonderful characters and I also loved Zaiden (can't wait for his story!!) And then there is Lucca - an evil angel just waiting for redemption!!

The author has done her research and has created a believable mythos around the angels in the Book of Enoch. The plot is refreshing, the characters dynamic and the writing smooth. I'm familiar with the Book of Enoch and appreciated the author's knowledge. Eli is a too die for hero, and you hold your breath hoping that he and Ryden will make that midnight confession. I would definitely recommend this book. It was so interesting, I read it in one session.

I really wanted to give this one 2 stars but I could not find any part of it that could bring up the adverage. I would have even used the cover art but it was lacking too. The one is for the potential. I won't write Ms. Nutt off based on this but I'm out as far as reading the next one.

It's a novella BTW.

This bad boy/angel won't let anyone get close; does he really think human love is a waste of time? I suggest you read this book and get the answer yourself.

I loved this book which is the second in this series. The characters are wonderful and have depth and dimension.
