I got this in the mail today - and the season starts tomorrow! Trying to get ready to be assistant coach to my bonus son's team, the Seattle Mariners! And this book is exceptionally laid out for the beginning coach, or assistant coach, as is my case! Very thorough, and very well organized! I jumped right to the section about Practice, and breathed a huge sigh of relief! The "Practice Session Worksheet" on page 52 might have saved my bacon all on it's own! Thanks Bing Broido! I hope tomorrow goes well!

Update: first practice was a success! Leaned heavily on this book, so thanks again Mr. Broido!

If you've been talked into coaching your kids tee ball team and had no idea what to do or didnt want to appear like you did, then this is an excellent guide and resource for you. Easily read in a day you'll keep coming back to it for practice ideas for your team and in the end you'll come out looking like a pro.

Still have it to review when my toddler starts in a couple of years! Much of it is common sense if you love playing with kids. But the drills are designed for 4-6 year olds which is good to remember (Do not expect to explain double plays!)
