The layout is a bit messy, but probably more appealing to the MTV-viewing teen target group of this book.
Chock-full with short quotes from various pop culture & music personages with their friendly tips, as well as blurbs from fellow teenagers on how teens think, feel, and act with regards to sexual mores and behavior.
Covers the basics re safe sex, prevention, contraception, etc. but IMO needs to be somewhat more organized.
There are lots of details that makes the book great for browsing, or as a conversation starter, but it doesn't work well in stressing the basics as it's hard to sift through the minutiae to get to them. Eventually it's a particular quotation or a quirky confession that catches one's attention, rather than the top ten (or so) must-know facts.
