Good daily devotional book with a nice variety of topics, mostly inspired by the Promise Keepers Movement of Christian Men.

Only thing missing from it is a unifying theme - the days are not connected to one another (like a devotional based on the Catholic liturgical calendar or one from a single author would be), so there is more disjointedness from day to day, without much opportunity to build upon previous days.

Of course, it could be by design, assuming that most people will not read a devotional each and every day, and thereby may become confused or put-off by something that required the previous day's (or days') readings to fully understand.

At any rate, this is a good starter devotional for men just starting to deepen their journey with Christ - lots of sports analogies, challenges to living with integrity, and inspiring stories (both tear-jerkers and rallying cries).
