This book was given to me as a present and was a quick, easy read. It is filled with photos and recaps from every World Series the Yankees have been in, through 2009. There are breakdowns of each World Series game played in each year, box scores and an anaysis of each win and loss. A lot of the photos have been published before, but there are a few that are well worth the price of the book. While it does come with a DVD, narrated by Reggie Jackson, the book does not break any new ground or offer any new insights. All in all, it is a very nice coffee table book/conversation piece. Which, in the end, is what it is meant to be. If you are looking for an in depth look at all NY Yankee World Series appearences, thihs book is not for you. But, if you want an interesting array of photos, a quick recap and a DVD to tie it all together, pick up a copy for your personal library.
