Greta Lipinski's biological clock is about to run out of batteries. She’s always wanted children, and the fact that she isn’t married isn’t about to stop her. Her track record for dating losers is just further proof that she doesn’t need a man to have a baby. Seeking out the help of Dr. Alec Thurston, a renowned New England fertility expert, Greta initiates the fertility process.
Alec, the privileged son of wealthy but distant parents, grew up barely knowing the meaning of the word “family." He loves his job, and is happy to help Greta fulfill her dreams, but fatherhood is not for him. Until a lab error throws the unlikely Greta and Alex into a major…oops moment.
After serving in the Air Force as a registered nurse, Lori Avocato decided to give up nursing to write fiction. She lives in New England and is a member of the Mystery Writers of America, PASIC, NINC, Romance Writers of America, the Author's Guild, and Sisters in Crime. She's raising two teenage sons (heaven help her!), and one darling dog, Spanky. Lori is the author of six novels featuring Pauline Sokol: A Dose of Murder; The Stiff and the Dead; One Dead Under the Cuckoo's Nest; Deep Sea Dead; Nip, Tuck, Dead; and Dead on Arrival.
This book had so many grammer errors, that I could barely focus on the story itself. In theory, it sounds like it would be a cute story, but in reality, it was only ok. I don't recommend it.
