This IS a rather dry read, but it is a textbook, so I was not expecting to be riveted to my seat. This book does a good job of explaining how and why bibliotherapy techniques can be beneficial in the clinical setting. Adding the story element to some of my sessions, I feel this was money well spent! If you are a clinician looking for some evidence-based therapy modes to try, I would definitely suggest this!

A high 3.5 Prior reviewers definitely weren't kidding with the dryness. It's basically a manualized treatment for bibliotherapy, or the closest thing to it, so that's what you're getting into going in. And you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!
