Here's everything you wanted to know about me...and probably a lot you didn't.
THE BASICS. I'm older than I act, red haired (usually), and excessively fond of chocolate. I work in textbook publishing, so I'm partially to blame for killer backpack syndrome. Sorry.
I love to sing, and have been known to act. I'd like to be on Broadway, but the closest I've ever come was reality TV. Finally, I'm the mother of three exceptionally handsome and talented sons. I say this with the sole purpose of embarrassing them. My husband is a dentist who really would like to be Doc Holliday, and I'm the love object of a 90-pound mutt of dubious heritage.
Very beginning-to-read, but a cute story about how we are more alike than different, even though one character can walk and the other uses a wheelchair.
I really think children will like reading this book because it is a easy. Also it has a word list at the end of the book to help children enhance their vocabulary.
A little and her friend do lots of things together. Although they share some common interests, they are also different at the same time. Even though her friend is in a wheelchair, it does not change the impact they share on each other's life.Great book to present to students about disabilities and that even though someone might be a little different, it does not mean that they can share some of the same interest and hobbies as you do! Good read for 1st grade to 3rd grade
