Here's everything you wanted to know about me...and probably a lot you didn't.

THE BASICS. I'm older than I act, red haired (usually), and excessively fond of chocolate. I work in textbook publishing, so I'm partially to blame for killer backpack syndrome. Sorry.

I love to sing, and have been known to act. I'd like to be on Broadway, but the closest I've ever come was reality TV. Finally, I'm the mother of three exceptionally handsome and talented sons. I say this with the sole purpose of embarrassing them. My husband is a dentist who really would like to be Doc Holliday, and I'm the love object of a 90-pound mutt of dubious heritage.

My children absolutely adore this book. Reading literature is so important to the development of a child's mind, and I cannot think of thing I would rather do then sit down to read to them in the evenings. Imagination and growth are so vital in those so young.

Go-With Words by Bonnie Dobkin is a decent easy reader trade-instructional book. It allows children to pair words together and make connections to the real world. I recommend this book for kindergarten and 1st grade children. The book is mainly targeted towards really young children because older children may find a book that pairs words together uninteresting. The illustrations are simple and in my opinion, could be better. Nevertheless, Go-With Words is a good book for beginners.
