Wolf’s Magic is the story of Azriel Kane, fifth brother in the royal Westervelt wolf pack. Always different from his siblings, Azriel prefers to spend his time underground in a lab than out fighting battles to save the pack from destruction. In his own way, he feels he is contributing to the pack’s success. However, when fate plants his destined mate in a cage where he can’t ignore her, Az will be forced to face up the demons that have plagued him since childhood and be the shifter she needs him to be.

Leah St. James has no idea who she is or how she came to be trapped in a cage in Azriel’s lab. The only thing she is certain about is that she is not a wolf and that she wants out of her false wolf body as soon as possible. Counting on Az to save her from the same doomed fate as the other wolves Az is given to study, from the distance of her cage she can see Az for who he really is and not the false front he presents to the world.

But Kendrick Kane is not done with Westervelt and when he steps up his game to eliminate the Kanes from Westervelt, Az and Leah will need each other to discover the truth behind his evil plans, that is if Azriel can finally reveal the secret he has been keeping since he was a child.

With Leah’s help, can Azriel finally take his place in the pack hierarchy or will they fail and lose Westervelt forever?

This is one of my favorite series. All the characters are so rich and full of love and loyalty for each other. The world that RR has built here is fantastic. For 86 pages, this ebook was surprisingly full of information. We got a really good feel for what their backgrounds are. Two incredible people coming together and falling in love. I absolutely adore how the characters come to realize they are mates and give in to it. The way they communicate with their inner wolves. The way these pack brothers love each other. How they each have their own special gift. I cannot say enough about these books. They don't come out fast enough for me. If you haven't read this series, don't sell yourself short and start here. Start at the beginning! They are all so good. Loved it, Rebecca!!!

Wolf's Magic The Westervelt Wolves Book 4
by Rebecca Royce
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What can one say about Rebecca Royce that hasn't already been said. Her books are masterpieces to read. Her ability to describe scenery was amazing , one could close ones eyes and imagine being in the storyline. Her ability to bring her characters to life and weave a adventurous tale of daring and romance was breathtaking. My reading of Wolf's Magic The Westervelt Wolves Book 4 and the memory of my fascination of the story is still crystal clear and will continue to be some fifty years from now.

Throughout the years I had a routine of reading a lot of paranormal romance to the point that I find Rebecca Royce books to be so Awesome. I knew I wanted to read more of her books, Well, just let me say how delighted I am! I have been reading them, without stop because I can't put them down! Each story is very different in characters and the tales are told with great artistry. in a short period, I have become a true fan of Rebecca Royce! I think she is brilliant, her mastery of the the form is perfect, her characters are believable and unique, her writing is quite beautiful and her stories are fantastic and thrilling. If one could call a paranormal romance "elegant", then that is the word I would offer.
The variety of the stories surpised me, as I really enjoyed all of her series, they are magnificent. I have been delighted by each, individually. She has captured my attention from page one and held me in her grasp throughout.
These stories are all written well, so that is another interesting fact to me - she hasn't been affected by the modern trends, the heroes are good, the badies are bad, the women are brave and beautiful, and, so far, everyone gets their just desserts! I love it. The descriptions of the awesome landscape (the real life ), the value of honesty and friendship and fair dealing, these are values we are all missing these days and I'm happy to report, are offered here in these wonderful books. I recommend it to anyone wishing to just read a good story told by on of the best. I'm not through with the series, as I am savoring each story in it's turn-- but I'm enjoying the journey, and invite others to come along.

I'd recommend this series to anyone who likes a strong and likable heroine, an irresistible alpha male and a story full of twists, turns, romance and love. I can't hardly wait to read the next book! This is a SPECTACULAR Read! This story will make you smile and give you lots of romance. If you love witches, wolves and demons then this romance is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list. I am hoping there will be a lot more exciting stories. I highly recommend this book!

If you believe in the world of Paranormal romance the possibilities are endless and fascinating.

I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 4th book in the series and its the story of Azriel Kane.

Azriel is sweet, kind and geeky and the 5th brother.
Azriel is different from all his brothers and he prefers spending his time in his lab working and in his head with his thoughts than in the outside world.
Leah St. James is trapped in a wolf body and in a cage watching the hansome man taking care of her unable to communicate with anyone and unable to tell them she is a human trapped in a wolf's body.
Things happen and Azriel realises that this wolf is his mate...
Can the solve their problems and be together?

Another quick story with intresting twists and turns in the westervel Series.
I think Azriel found his match in Leah.
The plot thickens and now we know more about Kendrick Kane but still little about what he wants.
Fast paced with lots of action the book was great.
The only thing that threw me off was that i felt i had misses lots of things during the previous book and this one and i figure i did since i just notices i haven't read book 3.5 .(chuckles)
Great reading!!!

Wolf’s Magic returns us to the Westervelt Pack; this time for Azriel's story. Azriel is a scientist. He likes dealing with facts, solving problems in his lab. He does not like magic, he does not really understand people. He feels like he is the most useless brother in his family. His own father tried to kill him for the first time when he was only two; what value could he possibly offer to his family or the pack. He doesn't realize his true worth. Leah St. James has no memory, she has no idea who she is other than her name. All she knows is that she's trapped in a wolf's body inside a cage in Azriel's lab. She doesn't know Az, other than he is kind to her. She appears to be one of Kendrick's 'made' wolves. Az is trying to save her, to understand why this she-wolf is so important to him. It takes a lethal attack on his lab and a comment by his brother to realize that the little she-wolf is his mate. Now it's imperative not only that he saves her life, but that he frees her from being trapped as a wolf.

The Westervelt Wolf Pack is home to wonderful, wonderful characters. These two are no exception. Azriel turns out to not only be brilliant, but to have magic. He has such self-disgust and insecurity, but he's so loving, kind, thoughtful, and self-sacrificing. His relationship with his wolf is fairly hysterical. He may be socially awkward, but you would never know when he speaks to Leah. His words are beautiful and poetic. He's magical in more than one way. Leah is creative, intelligent, fearless, and resilient. I love that she embraces her wolf and this new life with such gusto. She immediately sets about making certain that Az learns his own worth and he is determined to step outside of his own mind in order to be the man she needs. These two are good together. They compliment each other's intelligence, they are funny, and of course, they are sexy. She saves him, he saves her, they bond, he saves her, she saves him. All in the average day of a Westervelt!

Once again Kendrick proves that he is a top-notch bad guy. This guy is a powerful opponent. He is always a step ahead of the Pack and he is deadly. This time though, because of Azriel's toughness and intelligence, the Pack may finally be on better footing. His strength as the villian, his purely evil spirit makes this story so good. The Westervelt Pack is full of such incredible people, full of so much love. The two sides are the perfect examples of good and bad. Makes for a fun, intense fight. I can't wait to see which brother or sister gets the next story!

By now I am deep entangled into this series thanks to the writing and the characters. I await each one now with these Kane brothers succumbing to that bug love. In their case of course it is they have found their mate but the magic is definitely high with it seeping from the pages. This brother is the thinker but he also discovers what is before him is his, then too drama hits right away in this one. More kernels of knowledge come to light with also what makes this brother so special Azriel is also the one with alot of doubt. Leah is also special but she had been a key that turns out answers for them. Now that I have read this one my heels are dug in deeper trying to be patient for the next one.

As I step into the next book in the series I'm amazed at the depth of not only the characters, but the storyline. It starts off with Leah in a cage, in her wolf form, but she thinks she is just in a nightmare. In steps Azriel who makes her believe not only in herself, but healed her from within. I love reading how their love for each developed and deepened. It's a must for anyone who loves paranormal.

This was a fun read. I was curious who Azriel's mate would be. I do like Leah; she was a sweet person and a perfect mate for Azriel. I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. I liked the plot twist that I did not see coming at all. It kept the storyline fresh.

Having experienced the audiobook, I must commend the narrator for her excellent work. Her portrayal of the characters truly brought the story to life, making it even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to the next book in the Westervelt Wolves series, eager to see who will find their mate next.

Being a wolf shifter has it's benefits, but what if you were stuck as the wolf with no memory of who you are or look like as a human?

Azriel has been diligently working to find a cure for the “made” wolves. So far he's been unsuccessful, but has kept himself down in his lab vowing to keep at it until progress has been made. While watching all of the others eventually die in their cages, there is one curious little wolf who seems more alert than the others. After Theo sheds some light on Az's protective instincts of her, the situation hits critical because now there's no way he can let her die.

Leah doesn't know who she is and what's worse is she doesn't know what she looks like. She experiences these blackouts where she is not in control of what she does and has no recollection of when she comes to. The urge to kill comes as a voice in her mind and obeying feels like the only option. Her target is the Kane brothers, the same people who are trying to save her.

I really enjoyed both Az and Leah's characters. Az might be deemed as the weakest of the brothers, but he more than proved otherwise in the story both physically and mentally. His mindful musings often puts him as somewhat of a joke to his brothers, but once his mind is set to something he doesn't give up. Leah should be a freaked out mess for someone in her situation, but she's actually quite calm and especially trusting that Az will find a cure for her. Az's insecurities are counter-balanced by Leah and vice versa. Their romantic relationship is sweet and sexy at the same time. With every story in the series we progress further into learning what happened in the past and how everything and everyone is tied together. It's especially nice to see all of the little updates that are given on the other couples. Great storyline and I can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the Kane brothers.

This story is about Azriel and Leah, his mate. Before reading this, it would be very helpful to read 'Wolf's Valentine', because that book had already happened when this one comes along, so there were things talked about and new characters in this book that I didn't understand. The Goodreads page for this series needs to be corrected by the editor powers that be.

I was a little put off by mistakes in the beginning of this book. I went back to the beginning of the series and re-read the first 2 books that I had read a while back, then started with book 3 and have gone from one to the next. In the first book 'Her Wolf', Ashlee meets the Kane brothers and they are described as having various shades of blonde to light brown hair. In this book, they have black or dark brown hair... say what???

The author also tries to correct a mistake in the last book. In Book 2, 'Summer's Wolf', Faith shifts for the first time and is a black wolf, then in Book 3 (the story about Theo and Faith), she is another color. The author tries, in this book, to say that the wolves often change colors with their first few shifts... good try at a save, but series readers probably didn't buy it.

I wish that writers would just write a series, then move to the next one. I find a lot of these mistakes from authors that write lots of different things in the meantime, and literally forget what they put in previous 'episodes'. An editor would probably have found these things if they had read the books one after the other.

I gave this 4.0 stars because the story was good, the continuation of what had previously occurred was good (like a never-ending story) and we got a lot of insight into Azriel and his personality/history, though much less of Leah. She was a likeable heroine, with no really irritating issues, IMHO.

Recommended...

Wow Ms. Rebecca did it again, this lady's imagination is just phenomenal. When ever I read any of her books I'm always blown away. This women can write just about anything as she puts her magic fingers on the key pad she types each word flows thru the screen like magic. Yes, I definitely recommend this book and this whole series,  I mean what father does this to all his children is he, well read the books and finds out.
Azriel Kane aka: Az, is the a WolfShifter, in the Westervelt Wolf Pack more important he's a genius oh and many things more. The five Kane brothers are still fighting their father, Kendrick Kane, who has to be crazy he has been trying for a long while now to kill his sons. But Az was special his dad tried to kill many many times starting at age two. Az grew up in a hard way sometimes worse then his brother's yet each had there own demons.
Leah St. James is a she-wolf, whoops no she's not, yes she has paws but something happened to her. Wait what happened to her where has she been? Everything in her mind is black nothing is there. Why she just now remembered her name. Why is she in a cage? This doesn't make sence why is she in a lab too? The guy in the lab never leaves he is always working but he was gentle with her when he came to the cage. He never talks, he smelt so good too, ooooooo and looking his at body just made her mouth water, handsome omg she should be thinking of escaping not sex. Wait did she ever have sex? I was gifted this book for an honest and truthful review.

Wolf's Magic

Book 4 - Not a stand alone book.

Leah St. James is locked in wolf form with no memory of her prior life. Saved from the cages of a madman, she is now in a cage at the Westervelt Wolf Pack and all the other wolves saved are gone, what happened to them? Why is she the only one left? She knows she is not a wolf so why isn't she in her body? Who is talking in her head telling her to kill others? She can understand the man talking to her, who is this gorgeous man that calls her "Shewolf"? Azriel Kane is a loner even with all his brothers he preffers to be in his lab were his science makes more scense. Yet he is hiding soemthing from everyone even himself. Az and Leah must both learn to accept magic if they are to help the pack and save each other from the madman bent on all their deaths.

This wonderful story is about accepting things maybe Magical that can't be seen yet can be felt it. I really enjoyed Leah and Az's story. I guess it is true, watch out for the quiet ones! Watching Az come to grips with his past and embracing his own magic, was a wonderful twist on this story! Leah is just perfect for Az, as he is to her. I really loved watching these two come into their own power together and separately. I guess it is true we each have that other half of our souls out there!

Azriel the youngest Kane brother, is different than his older brothers. He's more happy with his books and in a lab. He is struggling to find a cure for a serum his evil father invented that turns people into shifters.

Leah has been turned into a wolf shifter and trapped in her wolf form. The only kindness she can remember is from a man on the other side of her cage. But can he help her?

This story was exciting and had so many unexpected moments. Azriel is brilliant and powerful, he is such a fantastic character throughout the book. He has such a big heart but he has trouble seeing his worth even when he's priceless. Leah is strong and passionate and her character grows a lot in the story. She gets so much thrown at her, but it only makes her try harder and become stronger. I really enjoyed these two characters and finding out the next piece of the puzzle in this series. Each book I read I think, ok this can't get better, but then the next book comes along and I get drawn even deeper into this Westervelt Wolves series. What a great series, and one I easily recommend.

Azriel(Az) Kane keeps to himself much to the dismay of his wolf. Az is very scientific in his thinking and trying to find a way to save man-made wolves from dying. Az takes a special interest in She-wolf in his lab and believes that she can hear whatever is going on around her. Leah St. James is trapped in a wolf's body with no way to speak to handsome man that's trying to help her. When Leah can suddenly hear Az's thoughts in her head she thinks that she's crazy. She hears a voice telling her to kill the wolves but Az gets her to submit and the voice fades. Az is stunned to believe this beautiful woman is his mate and wonders how he got to be this lucky. Can Az stop Kendrick Kane's plans? What makes Az so special? Will Leah accept she's a wolf shifter? Your answers await you in Wolf's Magic.

I really like how this series is beginning to shape up. I love how Az doesn't think he deserves to have a mate! Leah is Az's perfect mate in every sense of the word. I'm looking forward to the day when Kendrick Kane finally gets his due and thensome.

Azriel is stumped by the “made” wolves, all have died except for one and she is much more than she appears to be. When the lab is fire bombed he uses the last of his strength too free her and she save him by dragging him into the stairwell where his brothers break down the door to save them both. To everyone’s surprise Leah is able to communicate with Az and she turns out to be the daughter of a senator missing for 6 months, she is also Az’s mate and the daughter of one of the Westervelt women sent away by Az’s mother. Unfortunately, she is still under Kendrick’s influence sending her into a rage with the only thought to kill the Kane brothers. Ashlee finds a way to release her from the “made” wolf spell but Leah has no memory of how Kendrick is making his wolf army. Az has a secret that could help retrieve her memory and give them the upper hand against Kendrick. Fate seems to favor the Westervelt pack, bringing mates together at the right time with the right “gifts” but will be enough?

Leah St. James was stuck in wolf form and since she no idea of who or where she comes from. She thinks she might be going nuts. How is she a wolf? The only thing she can hang on to is the man in the room with her.
Azriel is a wolf shifter this brother is alpha. When his pack find wolves his evil father has made they take them back to Westervelt. So far no one has made it until the shewolf. She us different and he couldn't bare if anything happens to her. His brother laughed and told him what should have been right in front of his face. Their mates!
So now he has to find a cure for the wolves his evil father made, deal with his father, get his mates memories back and get her out of wolf form. Oh yea just keep doing the impossible or is it?
I really loved this obe, loved the idea of fate bring mates together and accepting each other and their magic gifts.
The characters are fantastic, their easy to connect to. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Shifter fans don't miss this one.

Man, do I ever love this Westervelt Wolves series! It just keeps getting better and better! Wolf's Magic proves yet again why Rebecca Royce is the queen of paranormal romance! The characters in this series are beyond fascinating... so strong, sincere, and so very real, despite being supernatural. They immediately draw you into the story and then keep you riveted. Azriel and Leah are a perfect couple, proving yet again that with togetherness comes strength. He is so brilliant and intense and more powerful than he knows. She is creative, trusting, and fiercely loyal. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with. This book showcases that fact perfectly, and story told here is compelling, romantic, captivating, impassioned, intriguing, and intensely gripping. I would highly recommend this book, and can't wait to read the next book in this completely enthralling series.

I enjoy the series about a group of brothers in a wolf pack who are working hard to fight their evil father's plans. Az is the one more comfortable in a lab than in battle. He has been trying to come up with scientific ways to stop his father.

Leah is a wolf injected by his father and the only one who survived for a long period after so. They begin to bond as they spend more time together. Leah is not too found of her new life but she really does care about Az.

It was a great story and I think Az is my new favorite brother. He underestimates himself and doesn't feel as good as his brothers. The romance between him and Leah is really sweet. They really support one another and bring confidence to each other.

I highly recommend the series and that you start with the first and read them in order. They can be read as standalones if you want to focus more on the romance than the background storyline.

Azriel Kane is the fifth brother in the Westervelt royal brothers. He’s very different from his brothers. He prefers the lab and analytic rather than action and violence. He’s also hiding a secret about himself that would make him even more different from the rest. Leah St. James wakes up in wolf form, in a cage, with no memory at all. The only comfort is the man that stays in the lab where she’s being held.
This was a great addition to the Westervelt wolf series. I really felt for Leah as she tried to remember who she was and then what she had to deal with in the end. Poor Az. While all of the brothers were sculpted in a horrible manner by their father, I felt Az had it the worst. I was glad to see that he felt his difference finally seriously contributed to the pack and that he was able to find some happiness. I highly recommend.

Azriel's turn in the spotlight. So far he has kept to the background and just popping up every now and then. Now we get to see what Az is really made of. There is more to this nerdy, focused and hiding a BIG secret! He is really unique amongst the males and he has the chance to shine against his more outgoing brothers!

Leah St. James is pretty much only sure of her name. She's not sure of anything else after being experimented on by Az's father. But she feels safe around Az and her "funny turns" are getting less frequent but she still lapses into a frenzy. When she is freed from her wolfy body she finally recalls more about her life and we find out that she is more connected to Az's father than we thought and that her family is also involved.

For a short book it sure packs a punch! Az is great as the nerdy, shy, unassuming Az. Leah is a breath of fresh air and such a free spirit once unlocked from her canine self. They balance each other out perfectly.

This series keeps getting better! Just when you think you know how things will go the author throws a twist on things. Az is happy being in his lab trying to help in his own way to defeat his father. While studying made wolves there's one that is different from the others and turns out she's his mate. Leah can't remember her past just knows that Az is the one to help her. As they figure out who Leah is and find out more about Az, Kendrick gets closer.

The author just keeps surprising me with this series. I love all the characters and they're all part of the story and never act how you think they should and at other times do, the reader is definitely kept on their toes. I can't wait to find out what happens next and who's story is next to tell! I received a copy for a honest review.

I read this book in 1 day, I couldn't put it down! Action packed and filled with surprises. We get to hear Az's story. He spends most of his time in his lab this time working with 'made wolves'. They are dying and he can't figure out why. With one wolf left, he can finally communicate with her. He sets out to save her before she dies like the rest. Leah had been kidnapped. She's a senator's daughter. She's also a wolf but not the wolf she was turned into. Of course Kendrick Kane is back causing more havoc along with her father. Each she-wolf comes into powers of her own and Leah's powers are spectacular. The whole pack gets involved once again to thwart Kendrick and his attempts to kill off the pack and get the island back. Anxious for the next book!! This book was given to me for an honest review.

Wolf Magic is the love story of Az and Leah and it was a very good read. Watching as they both together came to accept their magic abilities and use their powers was a joy to behold as they get more information needed to continue in fighting the evil plan of the pack’s former Alpha. Az showed mentally and physically he was not the weakest of the brothers and we see how Leah is a perfect complement to Az. In each story we have learned more of the pack’s past and the people involved and as each piece fits into the bigger picture we are getting closer to a solution in ending the evil which the pack is fighting.

Brilliant book. Really enjoyed this. This series is brilliant. Not long books vut there are 8 books in the series to keep you going. A must read

Merged review:

Brilliant read.
Leah has woken in a cage with no memories of who she was or who she is, apparently she is a person in wolfs clothing. Her life is fuzzy with episodes of blankness, but the voice on the otherside of the cage is calming.
Az is trying really hard to understand what is happening to these made wolves with no luck, But one wolf in particular has captured his attention and he must figure out what is happening to her.
Brilliant read.
