I also grew up on the Veggie Tale movies. Although the books were not as same or as entertaining as the movies were, I still appreciate how it holds to the Christian morals and values. This way, one does not have to go seeking for God's truth because it is already the basis of the book. There are multiple biblical principles addressed and all of them can be relatable to life whether it is for the child reading the book, or the adult that is reading the book to the child.

Frankly a bit of a mess in the typical VeggieTales fashion. Still if you don't mind the whole Christian aspect and your child is having problems falling asleep at night, you could do worse.

There's a song in the book which is somewhat poorly written and, having only seen a couple of random episodes, I've no idea how the tune should sound.
