Don't Forget Me

Rate this book
I have been hiding for most of my life, the last thing on my mind was love.

But how could I deny myself when the person I had been craving so sweetly handed herself over to me on a silver platter?

I planned to lay low at Club Pétale, maybe have a bit of fun while I was at it, but after meeting her my plans changed.

Now I will stop at nothing until she is mine, even if that meant going back to school.

I’ll see you soon, Professor Evens.

I hope you haven’t forgotten about me just yet.

So I didn’t think stalker/dark romance was my thing… until I read this book. I suddenly found myself being able to excuse questionable behavior like stalking and murder because Avery is a queen. I read this book extremely quickly I couldn’t put it down there were so many different aspects of the book that held my attention like Avery’s family relationship, Willow’s traumatic past and obviously the kinky spice scenes. The end was WILD btw 😳 with what willow asked Avery do to her 😳😳😳

DO NOT READ WITHOUT CHECKING THE TW/CW THAT THE AUTHOR PROVIDES IN THE BEGINNING OF THE BOOK!

Thank you to Good Girls PR for the eARC!

One thing about me is that I will always eat up a stalker romance.

Oh, and props to Eden for getting me to like the professor/student trope because I usually despise it. 😮‍💨

This book was why I moved up this series on my TBR so I’m very happy I was rewarded an ARC! I love that sapphics are finally getting darker tropes that are often only given to F/M or M/M pairings and Eden Emory keeps delivering really well done, spicy books with those tropes. One thing I wasn’t as fond of was that I wished 2/3 were more like 1 in the series where characters for future books were introduced better and the club was a bigger part of the story. The author did such a good job hyping this book and getting me intrigued and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

This book started off strong and I really wanted to love it. But after about 45% it just kind of fell flat. The opening chapter was AMAZING and I just wish it could have kept that going through the whole book. Don't get me wrong, it was still a great read and I liked it a lot. The FF was done super well and I enjoyed it. I just felt like so many things were glossed over or changed so quickly when there could've been amazing tension buildup. Also when it came to the spice scenes, after the first few, they just kind of felt like copy and paste, but still hot af! It just felt like it started so strong and there was so much potential, but it just rode that initial high and didn't do anything else.

couldn’t put down!

The stalker dark romance I never knew I needed! The wait was rough but boy was it worth it! The author is gifted in writing those spicy, steamy scenes! The plot was interesting and kept my attention throughout. The MCs chemistry was on fire! Eden Emory knows how to get you to root for the morally gray wholeheartedly!

This book is my favorite from the Club Pétale series.

It was a reread for me, and I enjoyed it even more than the first time. It’s probably the only stalker x obsession story that doesn’t make me uncomfortable.

The writing is amazing, and the story moves at a perfect pace. And I don't even talk about the spicy scenes because they were scorching hot. I was hooked from start to finish.

Avery and Willow both have their own struggles, but they fully accept each other no matter what. Seeing Willow overcome her loneliness and finally feel safe in her grief was so satisfying. And watching Avery slowly open up, even with her fears, was incredible.

I really hope there will be more books in this series because I can’t get enough.

Overall, I definitely recommend it. If you love stalker romances with lots of angst and a captivating morally gray character, you should give this book a chance.

DNF @ 34%. I was really excited for this one cause the trope sounded so fun but god was it really slow for me. Like it didn’t hook me at all, which is surprising with how much I loved the first two. Oh well.

The spice in this book OMG 🥵 This is my first sapphic stalker romance, and it had me supporting women's rights and women's wrongs. Things that would give me the ick when men did them I was suddenly turning a blind eye to when it came to Avery. However, it did drag on a bit for me and felt far longer than it was. This is definitely worth a read, though. Especially if you want to get into dark sapphic romance.

This was cute, I really liked the characters and their relationship. I loved the whole stalker plot, a bit less the student x professor trope since I expected something different. The crime plot was boring tho, it was well planned but I didn’t care for it

Safety notes:
- no cheating
- no OW or OM
- they had a one night stand and Avery became obsessed but there was no mention of both of them sleeping with other people during the time spent apart

this is my new favorite dark sapphic romance and it feels all the more sweet because i wasn't anticipating it. after "don't leave me" not matching my expectations i was cautious going into this one because if sloan's – my previous favorite character in this universe – story didn't reach ax's level i didn't think avery's would, and not because i didn't love her as much. but this was the surpassing i wanted, no, needed, after "don't stop me". and the biggest surprise of all was willow, she caught me completely off guard. her character arc was possibly the best so far in the series,
the author didn't shy away from the dark elements and balanced them with equals part romance. stalker, girl obsessed, touch her and you die, knife play and branding? the extent of unhingedness was unparalleled. i support women's rights, but most importantly i support women's wrongs (although none of these two could do anything wrong in my eyes). which might explain my already undying devotion over quinn; i've always wanted blake to get her own book and as soon as quinn was introduced in the last one i just knew they had to be endgame. so to have not only that comfirmed, but the hint at their tropes (contracted killer x secret agent, hidden identity) got me so excited. i was screaming, kicking my feet over the connection between avery and quinn so they better become actual friends because that background story almost 3 books in the making will pay off.

Love this story 🖤
It’s my first fxf story and first time reading about a woman being a stalker and I loved it 🫢

Avery met Willow one night at the club she’s working at and ever since then she was mesmerized by her.
She tried to keep a low profile and to keep her obsession with Willow under control, but that was something she just couldn’t control and have power over it.
Since Avery feels comfortable and way better to have everything in controll this was definitely messing with her head…
She tried her best keeping distance and to not intervene with willows life, but she couldn’t be away from her any longer.
So there she was in the darkest of darkest nights watching Willow live her life…

What Avery didn’t knew, is that Willow is just as mesmerized and obsessed by Avery…
Ever since the first time they met… Avery couldn’t forget Willow and so couldn’t Willow forget Avery.
Willow was haunted by Avery’s mesmerizing and angelic face so much that she was in all her dreams, nightmares, thoughts and even in her presence …

Don’t ever forget about me ….

This was my first stalker romance, and I was surprised to find that I liked it. I've mentioned this before, but Eden can write amazing spicy scenes!

I didn't think her characters weren't as well thought as they were with the last two. And parts of the plot were mildly unbelievable. No, I'm not talking about the stalking. That was actually handled pretty well. She turned it from a non-con to a dub-con book.

I especially liked that the stalker with sociopathic tendencies was all nervous because her obsession was just as obsessed with her.

A stalker romance could be cute. Who knew?

•I received an e-arc of this book•

If I didn’t already support women’s rights and wrongs, this book would change that thought around. Avery and Willow are such amazing and lovable characters with a connection that had me kicking my legs and internally (and occasionally externally) screaming. Eden Emory had me hooked by the first line and kept that hook well after finishing. Highly suggest if you enjoy dark romance (it’s one of my favorites).

I wanted to like this book so badly but it just fell…flat? The characters felt one dimensional and the story overly trope-y

Somewhere inbetween "I may have obsessive tendencies but I'm not delusional" and "Safe word or three taps if your mouths currently occupied" I kindaaaa fell in love with Avery. She ate and left not crumbs. And with ate I mean she ate Willo-
No but seriously. For a book in a spicy club series this one had surprisingly not so much spicy club but the smut was still the best one so far. Now to the really important question:
How tf am I supposed to survive this all until Quinn's book comes out?

I love sapphic dark romance, it’s def the genre for me, but it felt so surface level. Any attempts at making this deeper didn’t really work for me.
