Like the bestselling first edition, this introductory textbook succinctly presents concepts and theories of educational leadership and organizational behavior and immediately applies them to problems of practice. The second edition includes a new chapter on organizational culture, expanded overage of organizational structure, systems, and leadership, and additional case studies and scenarios representing real problems of practice.
I read this book for graduate school and rated it according to other educational texts.
Chance tackled many complex issues within this book, but she explained all of them clearly and thoroughly. I really appreciated her bolding of key terms and the separation of chapters into distinct sections. I LOVED the case studies at the end of each chapter. It was incredibly helpful to have one case study with a sample analysis provided and one case study for us to analyze on our own.
