Real QUICK read - though the paperback is 152 pages, they are double-spaced. The kindle considers the book length to be about 62 pages. It took about two hours to read.

Fun read, the Female Main Lead is creative in her assassinations. The sex, when the two love interests finally meet, is explosive. This book is exactly what it means to be: a romantic suspense erotic novella.

That said, there is a little bit of an editing issue - not something that will bother most people. Skip the spoiler unless editing (not proofreading, but editing) is something that you like to get into the nitty-gritty.

Only us editing nerds here? Okay, the issue with repeating information appears late in the book. The problem is similar to "show don't tell" issues. Sometimes authors write something one way and then repeat it again another way. Like have the character think internally "this man was getting lucky tonight" and then says aloud "you are so getting laid tonight". One or the other is needed, not both (p. 110). A similar thing happens on page 111 (internal thoughts and then external sharing not a paragraph later). And I remember something like this happened just a bit earlier in the book. These type of things are hard for the writer to spot and why you hire outside editors, but sometimes they still slip through. They don't distract too much from the book, but keep it from being a perfect five star.
