Forbidden Merger is a contemporary romance by Emilie Rose. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Rose has provided readers with a well-written book populated with lovable characters. Aubrey is tasked with finding out what's going on at their competitor's company. Liam swore to keep business out of their time together. Aubrey and Liam's story is packed with drama, humor, spice and a little suspense. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Emilie Rose. Forbidden Merger is book 10 of the Dynasties: The Elliotts Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Families and loyalty. How can heads of families use their children as pawns?
Liam and Aubrey had the guts to find true love and let that love be stronger than the family nonsense. Still intrigued to see where this all ends up. .

🥵🥵 the chemistry!!! The elevator scene...it was 🌶🌶🌶🌶. A kind of romeo and juliet but with a happy ending and a whole lot of spice.

Always trying to gain approval from her father, Aubrey Holt makes a meeting with business enemy, Liam Elliott, to gain insider information to bring the company down. But from the moment they meet, flames flew and Aubrey knew she couldn't spy on Liam.
Liam knew he shouldn't keep thinking about Aubrey since she's the daughter of the competition, but he doesn't see why if they keep work separated from their time together why they couldn't meet each others needs while they lasted.
There affair burns bright, but the knowledge hanging over their heads of the consequences if they are caught keeps it on the down low. When his personal computer is hacked while staying with her, their relationship is outed and he questions her motives for being with him.
Going to her father, who initiated the whole thing she learns what he did and she goes to Liam offering her apologies.
Without realizing it, Liam is no longer committed to his grandfather's company and is willing to risk being shunned to win back Aubrey's heart.
