Ok so I read all three books and I have to say. Ughhhhh I had to finished because I was hoping at one point the main character would redeem herself at some point. Never happened the girl was a complete idiot. I was close to pulling my hair out numerous times. What Jake saw in her I have no clue. Please this book sucked the life out of me and I can't get it back. Jake acted secretive about everything. She wanted to know everything, while stating she didn't not understand 99% of what was going on. She was a walking airhead. The ending just left we blah. I almost DNF. Luna was everyone punching bag. I like a heroine with a backbone and a girl who can stand up for herself. I never once felt sorry for her she was one of the biggest airhead. Don't but yourself through this torture CAUTION!!
-5 Stars The first book was bad, the second got me thinking there’s no way it can get worse than this, and the third book proved me wrong. There’s bad, there’s worse, there’s The worst and then there’s this one. I can’t even find a word for it. It was that bad. I must be a masochist for listening to all three books. I’ve never said this about a character, but I will today: the h was dumber than a sack of rocks. Literally. Her IQ level must be in the single digit. That’s all.
Something about this series made me want to finish it and even know more about the other characters in their own books. But Luna made me crazy. Jake never answered questions directly and yet she kept asking, like he was going to all of a sudden change.
She also never explained anything clearly. Like when she was caught in the rain. Just say, this is my stupid bar tending uniform, but no... she had to stutter and stammer around it. She did that often.
And like she didn’t get that every time Jake was in a fight he wanted her away so he could concentrate and not worry about her, but all she thought about was what she wanted and, again, asking a hundred questions.
I want to read more but am concerned that all the other females will be just as annoying.
I was luckily enough to get to read this story before it came out. I definitely love all of Dabrina' book. Once you start you can't stop till you finish. This was just the same. I definitely loved the story between Jake and Luna. She is quirky and I love her character. Most of all I love Jake. I love every story from Lawton to Jake To Bishop. I can't wait to read about Jake. I hope there will be more stories of Lawton after marriage, Bishop and Jakes wedding!!!!!!!!!
Luna gets into situations that cause her all kinds of grief. She starts second guessing how Jake feels about her which in turn makes her do some pretty stupid stuff. Jake might not spell things out for her but his heart is in the right spot. After everything settles all the things she was insecure about become clear that she had nothing to worry about. Not a lot of sex scenes. Fantastic ending. I love love love this series.
Arghhhhhhhh! Now I definitely can't make up my mind??? Jake, Bishop or Lawton!?!?!? And now Joel is on the wait (hopefully not too long to wait 😉) and of course the are Steve and Anthony (just gotta love them 😊) I can honestly say I have loved all of the books and brilliantly they all have loads & loads left to tell .............. all those brothers yet to make an appearance and of course maybe Kara (not sure if she's the bishops sister?) anyway love love ❤️ these books! 😊
As much as I grew to dislike Luna throughout this book due to her nativity and completely stupid moments she also had some good qualities. She saw past the rough rough exterior of Jake. What he saw in her I have no idea because they would fight every other chapter. Usually because she was accusing him of something or another. After finishing this book I must say definitely NOT one of this authors better novels. I was excited going into this but ended up rather disappointed.
Thank you Sabrina!!! I received an Arc copy of the book. It was another great look into Jake and Luna's story. Steve and Anthony were hilarious. It would awesome if Sabrina wrote a spin-off series with Steve and Anthony as the main characters. Thank you again Sarina for giving me the chance to read the book early.
This book was a good ending to a love story that is briefly integrated in other books in this series. I like the fact that the author doesn't extend the storylines into 10 books to get a HEA. This story had action, hot sex, humor, and just plain ole' great balance of character insights within the book series.
Jake' perspective fills the reader with intrigue, frustration and madness. His ability to know things is second to none, but he gets his act together in the end and the illusive and evasive Jake is replaced with a slightly refined version of himself!
I really did like this but I will admit I feel like Jake was holding alot of things back from Luna, and Luna at times just didn't have a clue. Sometimes spineless. But in all the series is definitely worth the read
I received an ARC of Jake Forever and I am voluntarily leaving a review. I absolutely loved it and was unable to put it down. Hot and sexy hero she a great heroine really make this story unforgettable
You know when you finish a book, and it leaves you all smiley and giddy and giggling out loud, that it was one fantastic book!! That is exactly how the last book in the series left me!! Oh my gravy!! I was sooooo pleased with how it ended for Jake and Luna!! And that third times a charm was definitely PERFECT!!! Fantastic book!! Perfect characters!! Amazing happily ever after!!
Never in my whole life had anyone cared so much for my wellbeing. Even when I'd been a kid, my parents had been too wrapped up in their own things to obsess over where we were, or what we were doing.
As for Bianca, she was definitely not smiling. "I'm a friend of Jake's," she told him. "Doesn't that count?" "No," he said. "Why not?" she demanded. "Because you're lying." She gave a huff. "I most certainly am not." "Yeah. You are," he said. "If you were his friend, you'd be nicer to his girl."
You say you want to read something with • A fascinating story line • Well-drawn, sympathetic characters • Romance • Mystery • And a sense of humor? You say you haven’t read Sabrina Stark’s books? Well, there you go.
The author has done something very few writers can do. She has created a set of unique stories about the members of one family. They are all different and completely separate, stand-alone stories without the needless intrusion of characters from other books seen in so many series. I happened to read them out of sequence, which was satisfying, but to enjoy them to best effect, here’s their story chronology: Start with Unbelonging and Rebelonging, told from the female’s POV and Lawton and Rastor, which tell the same story from the man’s POV. Interestingly, the events were perceived differently by the two main characters, so you really get two different stories, meaning they could be read separately. I read them concurrently, flipping from one to the other after each major event, which was a fun read. Chronologically, the book Illegal Fortunes follows. Finally, read the books Jaked, Jake Me, and Jake Forever.
If you enjoy the books as much as I did, you’ll be happy to know there are still five family members to go: Lawton’s little sister, Selena and Luna’s two brothers, and Bishop and Jake’s two brothers, as well. Here’s hoping Ms. Stark keeps going!
Sabrina Stark has outdone herself yet once again. I have loved Sabrina from the moment I stumbled upon Unbelonging and she stole my heart or should I say Lawton and Chole stole my heart. She has introduced Bishop, then Jake. Luna has had a special love for Jake since she was a pre-teen and that love only grew. Sabrina did it again in book three - took it to a new level of maturity, the meaning of love, the stakes you are willing or not willing to take. In Jake Forever I think Sabrina shows how Jake and Luna struggle, question, and challenge their love - is it real, can it be saved under pressure, can compromises be made. I loved reading and watching how these two characters grew and blossomed. Sabrina Stark has such a special gift and knack for writing, amazing talent. She draws you in as you are in the scene. You want more, and yet you don't, because you don't want it to end.
Ahhh, Luna Luna Luna...the epitome of crazy and neurotic...Jake is frustrating sometimes with his non-answers. Don't get me started on that irritating Bianca! Yep, I loved this book :))
I truly enjoyed this series. Jake was perfect in a BBF kinda way. He's a crazy hot alpha male who does unbelievable things for a living, but I couldn't help but love him. Luna was crazy funny too. I truly truly love them together. But I think almost as much as I love them together, I loved her brothers. Some of the funniest funniest scenes ever between her brothers and her. What a group of characters. I still want to smack Bianca though. I wouldn't of read through three books to get to a fun HEA if I didn't enjoy the entire journey. Great job Sabrina Stark!
Another great book from Sabrina Stark. Despite being the third in the series, it captures your attention from beginning to end. Both Jake and Luna leave you wanting more. Loved the interaction between Jakeake and Bishop. Wished there was more interaction with the other brothers. Relationships between Luna and her siblings were great too. Her brothers were hilarious. Hopefully we will read more about these characters and the other siblings in the future.
I cannot wait to see what is next from this amazing author.
I received an ARC from the author for an honest review.
what did i just read?? i'm not even sure what the point of these three books was. i mean they were good but what actually happened? sure he was hot and they love each other but why were there three books instead of one? it seems the entire point of the trilogy was in the last couple of chapters in this book. on the bright side there are not cliff hangers in any of the books. if i hadn't had all of the books at the ready and if i hadn't finished them all in a 24 hour time span they may have only been 2 stars but reading them all in a row made each of them better.
I didn't like this one. It was one argument after another. They fought about anything and everything. Plus she kept asking a question when he'd ask her one or maybe she was not comprehending the questions he'd ask her. Confusing! Bianca was a bitch as usual. Her brothers were hilarious as usual. I'm hoping Joel's book will be better.
Not much else to say about this book that I haven't said on book two. Repeat performance is definitely old by book three. Only difference in this one they get engaged. By the end I really can't stand any of the characters so when I saw that there was going to be a fourth, I cut my losses and immediately deleted book from kindle.
An awesome ending to a stellar series. Luna and Jake are cuter, sweeter, and sexier than ever. Sabrina Stark is one of those authors you can pick up one of her books to read without even glancing at the synopsis and you know you're going to love it. 100% recommend to any and all romance fans!
