Enjoy the enchanting story of a young girl who imagines life as a princess. Her father plays along, admiring each godly quality of his young daughter's royal character.
Kathryn O'Brien writes books for kids and has a heart for moms. She's published five children's picture books, including her latest series (Sit for a Bit, Tyndale) and serves as a contributor for several publications. When she's not writing or enjoying her day job as a Christian school administrator, Kathryn can usually be found texting her three grown children, hanging on the front porch with her husband, or hiking the canyons near her home in Southern California.
I thought that it was a great book. I love to be a princess, and I loved they got to ride a beautiful horse and have a beautiful strong castle and wear shining crowns upon their heads in the story. They also wore beautiful robes that fell to the ground (and elf shoes is what they wore, and they were red).
This is a very sweet book and is an excellent read for a father/daughter. It takes the daughters wishes for the life of princess and weaves them togther with a father's encouraging words for his daughter.
My daughter is highly into princesses and I wanted princess books that weren't just about external beauty and "needing" to be rescued (ick). I think this book is sweet.
