This is a great book for any youth non-fiction collection. Filled with great illustrations, young readers will learn how, why and when sailing was so important for the people's why of life. Covering the people, places, and supplies that an ordinary supply ship would need, readers will follow along on a sailing voyage to India where spices await. A great book for any young reader interested in ships.
