Overall, the story was okay. But, did anyone proofread this book? There were so many mistakes it interfered with the reading.

This is genuinely one of the worst books ive ever read.

I am so bitterly disappointed because the story sounds so interesting but the writing id absolutely horrific. This author cant even figure out how to use quotation marks. The book is written in 3rd person but randomly switches to first person occasionally, eventually i figured its the character thinking to themselves but there is NO indication AT ALL that this is the case making it difficult to grasp for a while.

The characters are boring, poorly developed and have less depth than a plate. The dialogue is rather clunky but not the worst thing in the book believe it or not.

Was this book not proof read at all? Because every page has at least 1 spelling mistake or grammar mistake, its infuriating. Honestly this is the biggest reason i DNFed, i cant be bothered to try and read through a poorly written book with so many errors that somehow the author hasnt proofread, the agent hasnt proofread, AND the publisher hasnt proofread.

A very poor book that i really would not recommend to anyone. Disappointing because i was looking forward to the mythology aspects.

This should have been marketed as YA. It’s content wasn’t compelling .. Most notably well written was Polythemus..

I liked the cover and recognised the title so I figured it must be an updated version of the previous copy. This version had all the wonderful characters and dialogue and adventures as the first version but it is slicker. I enjoyed it just as much the second time around. My favourite character, by a mile, is Thor. But I really enjoyed the scene where Isabel was hiding from Cyclops in his stinky cave and how she managed to escape. The detail and the build up in each scene is really gripping. Excellent book! I am sure there will be a sequel.
