The Wright brothers are one of the most famous engineers ever. They are just like everyday people. When they were building the first plane they tried things and if they didn't work they tried something else until eventually they had the first flying plane. The book is very inspiration, it shows that you don't have to be special to to great things.

Great synopsis for kids. I really wish it had more illustrations, though. Some kids like to see more about the process.

This is a series of nonfiction biographies of famous people. The books are written in a way that is easy to understand and are full of pictures, illustrations, and graphics that are sure to intrigue young readers. The series includes: Helen Keller, Abraham Lincoln, Lewis & Clark, Paul Revere, Pocahontas, The Wright Brothers, and Thomas Edison. These are great books to introduce readers to nonfiction.

Another elementary mini biography. The Wright brothers weren't as interesting as Edison was, but it was still a pretty good introduction to the people who introduced to airplane to as a product for sale.
