5 Stars.

Book one - Snowbound: Miracle Marriage, an outstanding 5 star read. Loved Daniel and Stella’s second chance reconnection, pretty much read their book in one sitting.

Book two - Christmas Eve: Doorstep Delivery, sadly didn’t fare so well, loved Daniels’ brother; Patrick in the first book as a secondary character, and he was true to form in this book, but the woman the author decided to pair him with; Hayley, although I think the aim was for her to come across as comical and a bit scatty, but to me for the most part she just came over as a total moron.

Alfie, Patrick’s ten year old son, played a pivotal and entertaining part in both books, and was probably my favorite character overall.

I have had mixed success with this author’s Christmas offerings, this duology was worth the price for book one alone (which is where my rating comes from), but book two left a lot to be desired for me personally.

Loved, loved, loved! Devoured this quicker than the Asda brandy buttercream mince pies I’m currently addicted to. And the men in this book are just as delicious.

The next in the set did not disappoint in the lakes and hospital setting.

Two identical brothers but they say in looks as far as it goes. Daniel and Patrick. First up is Daniel who has never really moved on from Stella. Stella has not moved on from him either. Alfie was brilliant with his Uncle Daniel making him realise what everyone else sees. He would make a good father.

Patrick the brother who already has two kids and a divorce under his name. He has spent so long putting his one needs aside for the kids. Until a trip to Chicago and a woman named Hayley. He screws up a little when she appears the on the door but that just makes him even more human. I loved Hayley and her honesty.

Alfie is so funny, now they will be a team of three with him, post and their new brother or sister. I also liked the Tom camo.

Angels in The Snow comprises 2 Warm , touching, feel- good stories set over the Christmas period about two twin brothers and their journey towards love and marriage.

Snowbound: Miracle Marriage 3 stars
The first Story is Daniel Buchanan's story. Two years ago, at Christmas Eve, commitment-phobic Daniel broke up with his fiancé Stella . Now she's back in Lake District, and Daniel realises that his feelings for her have never disappeared. Can he overcome his fear of commitment or will he risk to lose Stella again?

Christmas Eve: Doorstep Delivery 4.5 stars
The second Story is Patrick's story. Patrick is a struggling single father who doesn't have particularly fond memories of the holiday season, especially since his ex-wife walked out on him and his kids on Christmas Eve two years earlier. This year Alfie, his ten-year-old son, decides that his dad needs a woman in his life- so taking matters into his own hands. He advertises for a housekeeper. Surprise, surprise, she is the same woman Patrick had an unforgettable night with, while he was on a trip to Chicago. Bubbly, impulsive Hayley is a delightful heroine. And Alfie is just too cute for words.
Extra bonus : It is fun to see Sally and Tom Hunter make an appearance while Sally is in labor and Tom is having a meltdown.

I really enjoyed this.
I think that I enjoyed Daniel and Stella's story more than I enjoyed Patrick and Hayley's but nevertheless they were both brilliant. I think Alfie has to be my favourite character, he was always really funny and I often found myself forgetting that he was only a child.

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to find out what happened with Daniel and Stella once their part of the book had finished. However, I did like that both of the stories ended in a similar way.

I couldn't help but fall completely in love with the twins, Daniel and Patrick :)

I found this book again, very similar to the sort of thing Paige Toon writes and I'd imagine that that's why I enjoyed it so much!
I may need to go out and hunt for another Sarah Morgan book, because I enjoyed this one very much. It was a nice book to read around this time of year, since we're not very far from Christmas.

I'd really recommend this book to anyone who likes a good romance and Christmas.

a perfect Christmas read! I dont usually like books with more than one story in them but I absolutely loved this book. Both stories were warm and feel good as well as completely compelling. the stories are based on 2 brothers, the first one telling Daniel's story and the second telling Patrick's and although some of the characters overlap, they are both fantastic stand alone stories. I would definitely recommend it

I enjoyed the two stories in this book centering on twins Daniel and Patrick and their love lives. It was just the right sort of book to read at this time of year, as it was a very easy chick lit romance style story.

At times a little predictable but I still enjoyed it and would recommend it to others who are looking for an easy read that can be picked up and put down easily during this busy time of year.

I found this book to be quite repetitive in nature. The characters weren't that likable but it gets two stars for the happy endings to both Daniel's and Patrick's stories.

It’s so rare to give a contemporary/ chick lit this high rating but it blew me away. This is a cosy story about two relationships and 4 people all connected together so beautifully. Set at Christmas time when magic and love are so important it’s written so well. Daniel is bad at tinsel and Christmas and dumped Stella on Christmas two years ago. When she reappears in his life he is shocked and they both try to make Daniels niece and nephew have a magical Christmas. Their story is both passionate and magical but it’s Daniels nephew Alfie who I adore the most as he cuts to the quick and says things as they are. The second part of the book is Daniels twin brother Patrick’s story. Hayley answers an ad in the paper for a job little realising its at the house of a man she just had a one night stand with and is shocked to see his baggage that he didn’t tell her about. She does however have a big heart and her own sweet story is so lovely. Sarah Morgan is one of the best contemporary authors out there.

From the very beginning you knew how it was going to end. The good thing about it was there was a 2nd story in the book but also knew how that would end!!!!

'Angels in the Snow' is a sweet, fluffy Christmassy romance with lots of snow and roaring fires. It's really two stories in one about twin brothers. The first story is about Daniel and Stella, which is the best of the two in my opinion, and Patrick and Hayley.

Although I enjoyed both these stories they were a little too sweet in places, a touch on the corny side and a bit predictable. But it's a quick, easy read that had me curled up on the sofa, snuggled under a warm blanket with snow falling outside my window. It really did enhance my festive mood.

Daniel and Stella are actually a great couple. Two years ago they were engaged to be married but Daniel called it off just a few hours after proposing and two years later Stella returns to her small town in Cumbria. Unfortunately it's Daniel's small town too and she knows she's going to have to meet him again some time, especially as they work in the same hospital. This is where it gets a little predictable. Of course Daniel has to be the gorgeous manly Doctor while Stella is the subservient nurse. It would have been more refreshing if it was the other way around.

When I got to the end of their story it did end a little abruptly. I didn't realise this was actually two separate stories, I thought it was one novel with the two stories entwining. But this isn't the case. When Daniel and Stella's story ended half way through the book it came as a surprise and I felt a little short changed. I didn't meet them again except for one sentence at the end of story two with Patrick and Hayley.

Patrick and Hayley first meet when he flys to Chicago for a job interview. They only have a few days together but it is very memorable for both of them. However, Hayley creeps out of the hotel without saying goodbye and Patrick flys home again thinking it was just a fleeting romance.

Here it gets a bit silly for me. Hayley leaves her job, flys back to the UK to seek Patrick out and while she's searching for him decides to take a housekeeping job, which, surprise, surprise turns out to be Patrick and his family! Hmm.

I couldn't really gel with Patrick and Hayley. They just didn't have the same chemistry as Daniel and Stella and I found Hayley to be particularly annoying. There is lots of jumping to the wrong conclusions, numerous mindless antics, but for me Patrick's son, Alfie stole the show. He is so funny. Maybe a little too mature for a ten year old but still very fun to read.

The author is very good at giving her stories atmosphere though. I would have liked a bit more detail about the town in Cumbria but what descriptive details there were are written well and definitely gave me that Christmas feeling.

VERDICT:

'Angels in the Snow' is a light Christmassy read that you don't have to think too much about. It's fun and very festive - a lovely gentle read for this time of year.

Angels in the Snow is a feel-good, easy to read Christmas book which centers around two main characters. This story is seperated into two parts, the first telling the story of Daniel and Stella and the second telling the story of his twin brother Patrick, and Hayley. Both stories come together at the end, leaving us with a satisfying ending.
Whilst I found Patrick to be the more attractive and the stronger character out of the twins, I actually found Daniel's story to be more effective and enjoyable. I felt that there was slightly more depth and emotion within the story of Daniel and Stella, as well as it feeling slightly more realistic. Although it was Patrick and Hayley who were meant to have more of an instant spark, I thought that the chemistry between Daniel and Stella to be a lot stronger. Daniel was a little brash for me at times, but I loved Stella. She seemed very down to earth and had a great personality. Her firm friendship with Patrick was lovely.
Alfie, Patrick's child and Daniel's nephew, features in both stories and keeps them connected together in a skillful way. He is only meant to be ten years old, but seems to have more insight than his age. He is a likeable character and his humour is certainly that of a charming child. He really manages to bring all of the family together.
This is an engaging read, as long as you don't look too far into it. It is very predictable and rather quite unrealistic - especially the second story - but overlooking this, it is an enjoyable Christmas book that should leave you with a glow.

Well this wasn't it either. Two stories in one book about two brothers. The first one was a little bit better than the second one. But nevertheless I didn't feel christmassy during reading, well I think because the stories hadn't to do with Christmas at all, except the fact that the telling was placed during Christmas season. But thats not enough to rise some christmas spirit up on the table.

I ended up liking Patrick and Hayley's story better than Stella and Daniel's. Mostly because Stella annoyed me far too much; the writing was really, really repetitive.

The kids were cute, but Alfie was a little too all-knowing. I don't mind precocious 10-year-olds, but I just didn't buy it.

Daniel ask Stella to marry him on Christmas Eve and turns around and calls it off a few hours later after his brother's wife leaves him and their children on same day. He thinks that he will be no good at marriage and family and Stella wants both. Stella helps Patrick get through Christmas with his kids and leaves for London to work. She returns two years later thinking she can work in same hospital as Daniel -- rents apartment from Patrick and soon discovers that it will be too hard to stay so she makes plans to leave but Daniel finally sees that he can't live without her and begs her to marry him again.
Meanwhile, Patrick goes to Chicago to check out a new job in USA and leave his kids with Daniel which is a disaster and he gets help from Stella. Patrick meets Haley at new hospital and they have a one night stand. He returns to England and decides to stay there but can't forget the woman he met. Haley feeling very out of place with her family leaves her job and answers ad for housekeeper in England so she can search for the Dr. she met -- When said Dr. opens door and finds her on his step he thinks she has come to tell him that she is pregnant but she is really answering ad his son placed. Of course she jumps in when she is needed as midwife at hospital and they end up staying together. Loved it.

Twin Brother Duo - previously published separately

Snowbound; Miracle Marriage 4* - Stella returns to the place she loves the best, hoping that the two years she has been away will be a buffer against her feelings for Daniel. Unfortunately that proves not to be the case and apart from the fact that he has a current girlfriend, he still doesn’t want marriage and children. Daniel was traumatised by his childhood and is convinced that he would be a bad husband and father. Will four days looking after his nephew and niece change his outlook?
Trigger: cheating (never breaks with girlfriend)

Christmas Eve: Doorstep Delivery 4* - Divorced single father Patrick is taken aback to find his one night stand from thousands of miles away on his doorstep on Christmas Eve, not knowing that his ten year old son Alfie has hired her as their housekeeper for two weeks over the Christmas period. His reaction to her presence upsets Hayley but she is eventually persuaded to stay. Will their chemistry, which is still sky high, translate into a forever love?

Minor editing issues with both stories.

Angels in the Snow is actually two interconnected stories in one. It is set in the Lake District, England and is about the developing relationships of twin brothers - Daniel and Patrick with Stella and Hayley. The stories are set over Christmas time and take place in the Hospital where the brothers are consultant doctors and also Patrick's beautiful home setting. Stella has taken on a job as a nurse at the Hospital and Hayley starts working there as a midwife.
At home, Patrick's son, Alfie plays a major part in bringing the couples together in both stories.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and found it a relaxing, if a little predictable, read.

A lovely easy read book set around Christmas but perfect to read just now in June and it's 27 degrees, also we are heading into a hear wave!
This book is in two halves that overlap regarding twins Daniel and Patrick who are both consultants in the NHS. Daniel is in A&E whilst Patrick is an obstetrician. They have a story each on meeting their future wives. Beautifully written, it's easy to pick up and put down as each story is about 180 pages long. I enjoyed the way both stories intertwined with each other.
I've loved it, heart warming, charming, hunky men and a world wise 10 year old boy, Alfie. He nearly steals the show.

I'm surprised that this book seems to have received some glowing reviews, but I found it completely unenjoyable and got to the second story and gave up a little bit through. I just found the writing to be sloppy and the characters and story to be boring. This was a disappointment. I started to read it in the run-up to Christmas and finished it on Christmas Eve. Based on the fact that I struggled from the beginning with this book (and the unbelievable events) but kept reading in vain in hopes it would get more enjoyable, this gets one star from me.

Two books in one.
Both books were set at Christmas and were about twin brothers finding love.

It was okay, but the female characters (both Stella and Hayley) annoyed me.
It was a little too corny for me, but it was a relaxing read.

A total easy to read with yummy male characters. A book revolving around Christmas and its spirit - "Christmas is all about second chances".

A fluffy, sweet, family novel with corny romance scenes with a hint of predictability. Nevertheless a good read. Favourite character was Alfie.

This book is so easy to read and did not disappoint. Its not the same as majority of the other Christmas books out there. This book is mainly about two characters and their relationships. The setting is based around a hospital and is split into two stories. Such a lovely story
