An inexperienced inter-dimensional being is thrust into the chaotic lives of a group of reckless young adults who survived the globally cataclysmic changes of The Great Year. With barely enough skill to keep herself from being swept by their psychologically and spiritually crippled minds...Can she keep them together long enough to realize the true cause of the dramatic transformation of the world's population into one heavily pigmented race?

As a non-sci fi fan I really enjoyed this book. This is geared more towards YA in my opinion, but a great effort for a first novel from this author. I was engaged, interested in the characters and used my imagination in places- as I feel that it is deliberately vague- so that the reader can challenge their mind to draw conclusions in places. Excellent offering from this author and I can't wait to read more!

Interesting idea on the whole, but really needed an editor. Also, doesn't seem finished.

I finished this book in three sittings. I'm not a huge sci-fi fan but, this made me a believer in the genre. I have to admit that I could see myself and my husband in two of the main characters (.Mike and Michelle). while the ending was abrupt, it does draw you in enough to make you want to read the conclusion. Overall I enjoyed it.
