I like the beef bourguignon and grandma's beef and vegetable soup. The recipes are straightforward and just what I need to prepare a pampering meal for my love ones.

True confessions means I did not have a chance to actually cook anything from this book. That said, I will come back to it. This is for meat lovers and those who are frugal minded. Organized by meat type, this book is very informative and encourages you to save money by using less popular cuts of meat. Pictures look great.

Good cookbook, most of the recipes are soups and stews. I tried a couple so far and they were both yummy. Looking forward to try the KC Ribs sometime soon.
