MARTIN GEDDES became a central figure in the Great Awakening by questioning the narratives of government and mainstream media. Through his widely-circulated essays, he details the issues of our times, showing how our "reality" has been endlessly "hacked" to divide us against each other. Geddes believes that as our worldviews realign, our conflicts will subside. Open Your Mind to A Guidebook to the Great Awakening is a collection of his most important writings from October 2017 to November 2020. Originally published online, this paperback edition has been newly edited with an updated Introduction by the author and a Foreword by former Marine Corps infantry officer and CIA spy Robert David Steele. This book is for anyone seeking an understanding of the covert war being fought by the Trump administration and the nature of the psychopathic culture that will be defeated by the American president's valiant efforts.
In my view, Martin Geddes’s pithy book is nothing less than a secular explanation of overarching archetypal biblical views by a person whose professed views are anything but biblical. In short, he addresses the fundamental issues of good versus evil in modern terms that both believer and unbeliever can understand. Essential reading.
This is required reading for anyone who has questioned this so called "reality" perpetrated by fake news ! It's written in a way that it is easily understood by the novice ,who finds their on a journey to find truth ,in this crazy world we live in !
I like your defintion of intuitive intelligence. This can be quite a lonely journey when common knowledge does not sit well with you. You gut instinct informs or rather, nags at you that there is an undercurrent narrative that has yet to emerge and the Truth be uncovered. I also like what you said about cleansing oneself, and having the patience while waiting for others to cross the schism. My artistic therapy is interior decorating. I look forward to learning more from your writing.
I was having some intellectual doubts about Q, but my intuition did not support these doubts completely. This book gave me a very positive feeling about what I already knew but also a strong confirmation of my intuitive knowing. Anyone who has felt down on what has happened with Biden’s inauguration should read this book.
I love Martin. He is brilliant in his analysis of events and trends with society.
Martin is able to explain how a few evil psychopaths were able to blackmail other power hungry psychopaths into their lair. We are very aware of who those bloodlines are. He points out how so !any are deceived by the news media, which is controlled by only a few who can brainwash the masses. Remember a lie told often enough becomes the truth. That should be self evident by now. The most important aspect of this book is to think for yourself, research information, does it resonate with you, and most important prove it to yourself. Find out is it truth or fiction. As an aside go look at his photography, absolutely amazing work, captures things from a totally different perspective.
In very broad strokes most of the observations on offer here aren't dumb or totally wrong. It's not difficult to identify powerful people and organizations and, rightly and wrongly, feel hard done by them. Once you get past the "very" there's not much more than broad strokes though. This is a cheering book, not an explanations and evidence book. Rarely are so many unsupported and untrue things stated with such confidence in so short a book. It's been a year and uhhhh... things have not panned out.
It's informative in regards to the narrative the Q people are enacting though. It explains enough that you can start to see some of the underlying assumptions and philosophical underpinnings without getting cluttered, convoluted or too specific. The common set of ideas and generalities shines through as Geddes speaks to a presumed sympathetic audience. It seems affinitive with the Jordan Peterson wing of conservatism, dripping in metaphor and crusader narratives but also with a set of concerns that many leftists would be sympathetic to. The ideas about psychopaths and power are fairly compatible across the divide, for example.
I don't find the Q narrative around COVID especially implausible. I don't think it's correct, but it doesn't immediately cause alarm bells to sound. Everyone has some off beliefs or little pieces of misinformation floating around, but I had to check to see if this was satire after the Satanism chapter. I'm not sure how he thinks he can soft sell the idea that most people with power in the world are part of an adrenochrome addicted cult that dates back to Rome and ancient Egypt. Then we get the old chestnut about War of the Worlds. At this point these are practically urban legends of urban legends. Like, it's passed around that people DID believe that adrenochrome is some kind of psychedelic super drug or that War of the Worlds set off mass hysteria rather than people actually believing those things. It abruptly throws a sheen of the pathetic over the proceedings. And the precedings.
It's a strong reminder that the internet age hasn't freshened up the material any. The information age hasn't added much information to the narrative. Heh.
I don't see any reason to try and refute the Q thing or get into arguing about anything specific here. For a lot of it there's much to say other than, "That's not true." Most of the rest barely constitutes anything you could meaningfully argue about. The book is interesting as a look into the narrative of Q, but there's very little real world information. It should properly be the introduction to an actual book about these things, but I suppose Geddes thought we'd soon be living in a benevolent People's Democratic Republic of Trump and all that seemed extraneous.
I have committed political heresy by even reading this book. But, after two years of knowing something is very wrong I was open to giving it a try. Also, that he escaped from the same cult I survived was a bonus.
Some of what he says was already obvious to me, and he provided substantiation. Some still feels sketchy. And in a climate where "conspiracy theory = spoiler alert," invoking the Q phenomenon is the newest way to signal social unacceptability.
I'm not ready to swallow the hook. But, in a world where many of us have become politically marooned, Geddes cracks opens the door to a new perspective.
Interesting read that challenges one to look at things in another way. This explains the actions and feelings of a large swath of the population. Whatever the contents, the thing that makes this an even more compelling book is that it is being censored and blocked for sale on so many sites. Only in a totalitarian/Orwellian world are thoughts words and deeds under such scrutiny. Per the constitution, the freedom of words are such a piller of our country and belief system that it is the 1st Amendment. Perhaps we should all awaken to that!
Finally! An outsider gives an insider look at America and Global events unfolding. A great awakening.
Thank you Martin. Very courageous to write this book. I will never forget Nov 4, 2020. At 4 am, checking the presidential election results, I knew immediately that something terrible had happened - cheating. It turns out it is much much more than the election. Your book gives a brilliant context to the Trump presidency and the sure win of the Spiritual war.
