Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.
In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!
This was a short and hot romance read. I don’t want to say too much because it’s only about 40ish pages long, but if you’re into second chances and holiday themed forced proximity with super detailed spice, give this a spin!
This is my very first book by Willow. I love the writing , I had no idea what I was stepping into. However, if some of the extra detail in the smut scenes were skipped or blackened ( faded into the next scene), even toned down, it would have been a perfect romance. However, the title does give away that it is a sexy book, personally, this is bordering on a different category. I was left wanting to know more about the characters and found myself looking for additional books. Additionally, its flow is beautiful, and the writing is poetic, adding personal emotion to every scene.
This is a full-on spicy book with one and a half chapters devoted to explicit content. If Winters were to write a book without the spice of a low level, it would be a beautiful romance that would fly off the shelves for many people. I look forward to this day. She sees an emotional passion, a beauty many other authors do not see.
One thing I love about reviewing books is being able to read a variety of books and experience the writings, compassion, and art of the authors. All in all, there are positives in Winter's writing and negatives , she gives great plot and narrative, while adding (too much ) in parts, while some people may like this I do have a feeling more people would purchase her books if she tones down her scenes and develops more romance and context into the storyline. She has a gift. Looking forward to seeing what she can do in the future.
Nothing sweet about this and not really holiday themed other than it says it’s during Christmas. It’s more of an erotic cluster in a handful of pages. There really isn’t a story here. They go from secret hook ups to a hook up in a closet in the middle of a party to oh, well let me propose because someone said it out loud. It’s really just them hooking up and talking about their hook ups with no real plot and nothing sweet. Guy was a little over the top and way too forceful. To me he didn’t treat her like he loved her or she was his holiday wish, she was a sex object. Very explicit. Not for me.
This was a short story. A very short story. And man I wished there was more. For how short the book was, it was able to give you a full background on both Carla and Michael, have their meeting, and give you a glimpse into what their future will be. I was impressed how much Winters was able to get into this book. There wasn’t enough to make it remarkable and memorable, but still a decent story. That is why I gave it 3 stars.
The brevity of the story left me yearning for more. Despite its concise nature, the book succeeded in delivering a comprehensive background on Carla and Michael, depicted their encounter, and offered a peek into their potential future. It's commendable how Winters managed to pack so much into such a short narrative. While it lacked the depth to be truly unforgettable, it was nonetheless a solid read, which is why I awarded it three stars.
Cute and very short, pero let’s be honest no me gustó la mejor amiga haciendo que el le propusiera al frente de todos cuando el quería hacerlo solo y ella no se acaba la boca dios mío. Pero fue cute and just what I needed bye
Wanted to listen to a quick audiobook on my commute home today and wanted to give this author a try. This one was not great but it could be the length. I’m interested in reading something else by them in the future.
I absolutely love this storyline. This was sweet, cute, spicy and short to the point love stories. I just wish I had just a little more. Carla and Michael were surprisingly sweet and caring for each other. I'm glad I picked this up.
3.5 ⭐️. Very short story It was pretty much the ending to a story. Like we got the first 30+ chapters explained in 1 paragraph. Then the ending. Listened to on Libby app audiobook
It's a very short story, a whole spicy chapter and glimpses of a story. I couldn't form an opinion on it because there's no story to it, you just hear it while you do something.
it was so short that’s why i rated it 3 bc i wanted more !! but i listened to the audiobook of this while working and it was super cute, straight to the point & had such a adorable ending
