This second eNovella in Rogers' ...and the Beast paranormal romance series is a steamy and delightful story which I read in one sitting. The blurb states, "dangerous shapeshifter warlord, a lioness with a sword, innocent passion, sexual awakenings and a happily-ever-after worthy of any fairy tale" to which I will add in a cousin who is royalty.
Kirsi, the female lead, is a shapeshifting lioness and "cousin of the High Lord of the Plains". She is an innocent in the ways of love and sex but not in the ways of the world. Kirsi is a strong willed character who describes herself playfully as a "spoiled royal brat" but in reality nothing could be farther from the truth. She thinks Ennon will make a "fitting tutor in the arts of pleasure".
The male lead, Ennon, First Warlord of the Plains, is very drawn to Kirsi but knows that Malrion would be most displeased, maybe even kill him, if anything happened to his cousin while in Ennon's care, much less if he touches her.
There is a priceless line in the story, “Or are you so well-endowed you fear my virgin nerves will shatter and I’ll flee into the woods?” You'll have to read the rest to find out the response.
Even as short as this story is (only about 50 pages), the characters are well developed and the plot catches your attention from the very beginning. And even though it is part of a series, it is very much a stand alone story.
The only thing I did not like about this story is that it was so short - I want more Kirsi and Ennon! (Hint! Hint! )
Paranormal romance and shapeshifter genre fans will adore this story.
At the end of the eNovella, you will find an excerpt from the first in this series, Sabine as well as excerpts from The Seven Year Witch by Jodi Redford and Primal Pleasure by Sydney Somers.

Kisri is a wonderful sexy read, that kept me highly entertained throughout. Kisri is a really high spirited character that I enjoyed, Kisri is tired of the men trying to take advantage of her while her family is at war and she’s losing her family members, yet her suitors don’t stop trying to force her hand at marriage so Kisri runs away and tries to find her cousin who will hopefully protect her from these men and not force her to chose a man she doesn’t like. She hides as a man in the camps and is found out and returned to her cousin by his warrior Ennon, and on their journey they explore their relationship. I really liked Ennon I thought he was a great character and was really well written and likeable, a great alpha character who knew who he was, what he liked and what he wanted. Kisri on the other hand, although I liked her I felt she was at times too much the spoilt brat and too used to getting her own way. She knows she’s going to have to marry someone and before she does she decides she wants to have her fun with Ennon, even though she knows if her cousin finds out he’ll be in a whole heap of trouble, but does she care? Erm... no! She really wants Ennon. I liked how Kisri’s cousin takes Kisri and Ennon’s behaviour of their relationship and helps them along.
Favourite Quotes: “That was all they could be. Memories, and ones she couldn’t savor too closely until after, when there was no danger that longing and affection could bind her to him in ways that could never be undone.”
Overall a really great short story that I highly recommend and I’m looking forward to reading the next two stories in this series next year!
Favorite Quote: “How? How do I feel?” “Like…like heaven and hell, all at once.”
Once upon a time there lived a young lioness princess in a castle far, far away. Every man for miles wanted to tame her. Not for her beauty or skills; but because of her fortune and bloodline. However, this young lioness wasn’t ready to be tamed. But as the war began to claim all her male relatives, one by one, and her cousin was to far to watch over her…she began to look very tamable indeed.
In the true fashion of fairy tales, this short but powerful novella takes us on an emotionally magical journey. Moira Rogers creates such fantastic world that draw you in and makes you feel as if the story is being written around you. Smooth storyline coupled with dynamic and endearing characters makes this series a tiny treasure to have and read.
Kisri’s male relatives have all protected her from unwanted claimings. But when the war slowly kills them off, she knows she has to find her cousin, The High Lord of the Plains, before her choice in mating is taken from her. Wot Kisri finds is Ennon, her cousin’s First Warlord. A battle hardened warrior, he agrees to take Kisri to her cousin at another location. Kisri and Ennon are attracted to each other but Ennon knows she can never be his. However, Ennon doesn’t take into account how Kisri feels. From the moment she met Ennon she felt her lioness struggle to claim him and be claimed by him. She knows once she meets up with her cousin, she will be forced back into the role of a princess and married off. So she asks Ennon to show her the ways of pleasure so she will always have that memory. But when magic enters the picture, Kisri and Ennon will have to make a choice and fight for what they want.
Kisri and Ennon are smoking hot together as they battle then fall into their attraction of each other. In a very naughty teacher-student type relationship, Ennon teaches a very adept Kisri all the erotic ways of passion. RAWR! Both are intelligent skillful warriors in their own right and a perfect match for each other. I really like that they aren’t given a perfect relationship. Lion and lioness fight for domination and the submission.
Although it doesn’t have quite the same emotional impact as the first one in the series, all in all a wonderful erotic fairy tale and I look forward to the third book in this series-to be announced.
Kisri is the 2nd short story in the ...And the Beast series (I love the name of that series by the way). I knew before opening this book that I would be in for a treat. I've yet to come across a Moira Rogers book I didn't enjoy (I know, I'm rambling to when it comes to their books *wink*). On a totally shallow note, I'm fascinated by this cover. It's just so pretty and sensual *happy sigh*
Kisri is the High-Lord's cousin. She's a beautiful woman and she has quite a big dowry, which means that most men want her for her fortune. They don't really care that she's an intelligent and independent (and strong) woman. She's been trying to escape these men for years but now she finds herself in need of protection. Kisri decides to ask her cousin, Malrion, for protection but on her way to him she meets Malrion's first warrior Ennon.
I really enjoyed seeing Kisri and Ennon together. What starts as a simple experiment quickly evolves into something deeper and meaningful. I loved that Kisri thinks he's strong enough to deserve her. Her sexual education was very hot. I think it's the main highlight of the book, the smex scenes are hot and erotic (ain't that the goal? *wink*) and leave you satiated with a big smile on your face.
This very cute and sensual fairy tale is easy to read. It's a treat you can gobble up when you're feeling a bit down . I can't recommend this series enough, seriously you won't regret it. Short, sweet, hot, it's everything you need in 60 pages.
I liked Kisri, the female lead, she knew what she wanted and went after it. It seems as though the authors stopped this series at book three and I am wondering why her cousin, Malrion, the High Lord, did not get his own book.
Update: There is supposed to be a fourth book (Malrion from book 2) and I emailed the Author(s) and asked if / when it would be released. The autohr's response: "We're still working on getting all of our books republished and available again, but I hope that we will have a chance to write Shira's story some day! "_ 2/12/2016
JESUS CHRIST. I was expecting a cool book in which people could shift into lions, with a little bit of romance, BUT GOD I WAS WRONG. I have quite an innocent mind(both I and others have led me to believe)..... This book was a SHOCK TO MY SYSTEM. If someone wants to read a very graphically romantic book, this is the one for you! Otherwise, be prepared.
This is another short but hot original fairy tale from the talented Moira Rogers.
As the last female of her family, Kisri is determined to reach her cousin, Malrion, High Lord of the Plains, to seek his protection, before any of the ambitious males can mate her against her will. Not only is she the last royal and single female, she is rich and attractive. She is also determined to find the one male who would gain nothing from mating with her: someone who wants her for herself.
Using magic to create a glamour, she disguises herself as a male, and travels with the troops heading home under the lead of the First Warlord, Ennon. When she is discovered in the camp, Ennon sends word to Malrion, and is told to bring her directly to Malrion, protecting her from harm. Kisri discovers in Ennon a man worthy of respect, and more important, a virile and desirable man, one with no need of what she has.
As they travel together, Kisri is determined to lose her innocence, and sets out to seduce Ennon. Can Kisri convince Ennon to teach her to be a woman, and please her lioness as well as her woman? Can Ennon keep his heart from becoming involved with the tempting female traveling with him? When he succumbs to Kisri’s charms, will Ennon survive Malrion’s judgment?
I love the world Ms. Rogers has created, and the characters are a delight to watch. This is definitely something to read when you want a quick and hot shot of romance.
Kisri is determined to find her own mate. She is smart and strong, and willing to take matters into her own hands concerning her future. I enjoyed watching as she slowly worked her way under Ennon’s skin, and into first his bed and then into his heart. She is brave and crafty, as well, and well able to take care of herself.
Ennon is the strong and courageous First Warlord of the Plains, a man that commands his troops with both intelligence and honor. He is determined to resist temptation as far as Kisri is concerned, but underestimates her determination where he is concerned. But he makes a serious mistake, and has to face the consequences of his action when they reach the camp of the High Lord, Malrion. I love Ennon, with his sense of honor and his willingness to take the punishment he knows he deserves.
This is a marvelous story of romance, seduction and happy endings. The passion that Ennon and Kisri share along their journey is at first sweet, and then hot and passionate as they near their destination.
I love Ms. Rogers’ new fairy tales, and wonder what is next in store for all of the readers who never really grew out of fairy tales. I am one of those folks, and I hope to see many more in this line from Ms. Rogers. So these two get their happy ever after? Read Kisri and the Beast for your answer.

Fed up with waiting meekly while the war between the shifter clans leaves her vulnerable to greedy suitors bent on capturing both her wealth and beauty, Kisri, the cousin of the king, disguises herself as a boy with the help of a magical charm and blends in with various soldier camps in an attempt to reach her cousin before she is taken in a forced mating. Spoiled by her doting cousin, she knows that he will offer her the protection of his house and allow her to choose her own future mate, and can only hope that she can continue her subterfuge until she reaches him.
Unfortunately for her, it is not long before her true identity is discovered in Ennon’s camp, and he is summoned to his tent do discover to his consternation that he recognizes the girl — Kisri — from when she was still a child.
A child no more, Ennon cannot help but notice her beauty, and knows that despite her apparent ability to take care of herself, she still needs protection. He immediately sends word to the king’s camp of her presence in her camp, and is soon bidden by the kin to personally protect and escort her to the king’s camp.
To make matters worse for him, Kisri knows that while her cousin may be much more lax than other men in regards to how he lets her live her life, he will still expect that she will enter into a mating with her virginity intact, and decides that this will be her last chance to experience pleasure before being forced to choose a man to spend the rest of her life with. She sets out to seduce Ennon, and while she may be inexperienced, she’s quite enthusiastic in her endeavors, and it isn’t long before Ennon’s resistance breaks and they give in to the heat between them.
Yet he knows that even as the king’s right-hand man, he’s not meant for the likes of Kisri, and that he will face banishment or worse for daring to break the king’s edict.
Overall, I of course adored it. Then again, if Moira Rogers wrote a treaties on the virtues of their new refrigerator, I’d still probably preorder it, so I may be a wee bit unobjective here
Recommended for fans of cool shifters with a nice twist on “mating” mythology, a woman who doesn’t let inexperience get in the way of what she wants, and a noble hero who cannot help falling for the one woman who is forbidden to him.
I really adore Rogers' writing- their voice is just enthralling. It grabs you and bang- 2 hours later you finished their novella without even noticing how time passed. It was like that with Kisri- the way they tell their tales.
In Kisri we are thrown back into the fantasy world around our 4 shifter nations. This time we see the side of the lions. Ennon has to escort the High Lords' cousin to him- unharmed and untouched but as you can imagine it doesn't happen that way.
Kisri is the High Lords' cousin- this makes her nobility for the lions and she never had a shortage of admirers who try to get her attention. But the ground rules changed in the last few months and now she's to stand up for herself or find someone who will do it for her. Kisri is a strong woman but also still a girl. She seemed strong and independent at times but in other moments she was rather shy and seemed to be very young. I would have loved to read more about Kisri's past and why she had to run. Yes, we are told what happened but that is just not the same as seeing it while reading. Also I always waited to see why Kisri is deemed untameable. In my eyes she was rather nice and all. I always waited for the stubborn lioness to come out but all her moments of "play" were again pretty tame in my eyes.
Ennon is a sexy warrior and a strong person. He's one of those men you just can't NOT like. He is the High Lord's right hand and I was a bit surprised about how un-alpha he was with Kisri. Don't get me wrong, I'm usually complaining about the over the top alphas but Ennon could have been a bit more of a challenge for Kisri. I pretty much liked both characters but I didn't really connect to them. I think I usually need a bit more insight into their characters or their pasts to really feel with them. There love scenes were really good though and I still really enjoyed reading this book.
The story was in retrospective perhaps a bit light but it was definitely enough to keep me glued to the pages.
Kisri is a good addition to the and the Beast series. It shows us a new side and perspective. I loved to actually see how Rogers imagines a different kind of shifters. But I have to say their wolves will always be my favorite. I love this series- the fantasy is wonderful and their books always make me crave more.
Kisri by Moira Rogers * I received this ARC free from the author in exchange for an honest review* His duty...her pleasure.
Kisri has been allowed to do what she wanted, within limits, growing up. Her cousin Mal watched out for her while she learned to defend herself. Now that all the men in her family have gone off to war, she has no one to protect her from the lions that want to mate her because she is royalty. Her solution, hide out in her cousin’s war camps disguised as a fellow soldier.
Ennon is Mal’s right hand and he is responsible for breaking down the war camps, he never expected to find Kisri among his camp. He is charged with bringing her to Mal safely and untouched, he didn’t know how hard the second task was going to be.
I loved Kisri’s character. She is a free spirit that just wants to live her life without having to fight off men that are only interested in her title. She wants to be able to choose her own mate and I can’t blame her. She is strong and independent and wants a mate that accepts her for who she is and doesn’t want to change her.
Ennon is a stand up guy that is super-sexy. He wants to get her to Mal untouched but he can’t turn down her offer for him to teach her the ways of men and women. He never meant to mate her, it just happened. He’s not sorry about it but he does act cowardly by pushing her away and not letting her make her own decisions.
I loved that the story was primarily about the two of them and the journey they are undertaking. The scenes were fun but also very sexy, especially their lion play. Ennon is a dominate lion that can to accept Kisri as she is and he doesn’t need her money or family name. They both thought they could walk away from their encounter but neither expected to lose their heart in the process.
Mal is a true leader who loves his cousin and wants her to be happy. He senses the mating bond right away, he is mad that Ennon broke his trust but he doesn’t want them to suffer either. He forces Ennon’s hand and encourages him to tell Kisri she has been mated, to let her decide if she wants to accept the mating bond.
Overall I really liked Kisri and give it 4 Flaming Hearts.
“Kisri” is the second novella in the series …and the Beast. While novella #1, “Sabine” is a wonderful read, I feel it is not necessary to read it to delve right into novella #2. Moira has done a great job of connecting the two stories, but they can still be read alone. Now that I said that, don’t miss out on reading “Sabine”.
Kisri is the last of the royal females in her family. Well sought after and desired. She wants more though. She wants to be chosen for herself not her position or money.
Ennon is the First Warlord of the Plains. He is a strong man with money and position. He has worked hard for his High Lord and is very devoted to him and his people.
Kisri runs away from being forced into a mating she does not desire. Doing so has thrown her into Ennon’s path. He is now charged to return her to her cousin, Malrion the High Lord of the Plains. Kisri is determined to free herself from her obligations and claim her own life and love. Ennon is a man with a mission. Return his High Lord’s cousin safe and sound. Both discover that they will get more than they bargained for.
I loved and hated “Kisri”. I’ll start with the hate so you don’t get me wrong. I hated that it was short and I loved the characters so much that I wanted more development of them. I went into this story knowing it was a novella. They are supposed to be short and sweet (oh and hot too). When I was done, I just wanted more, much more.
I loved the story even do to its brevity. It had all that was needed to be fulfilling yet make you want more. The interaction between Kisri and Ennon was great. You felt their frustrations and their passion. I found myself smiling and sighing.
“Kisri” is a very enjoyable novella. A wonderful short read. I hope you pick up both “Sabine” and “Kisri”. They complement the storyline very well. Here’s hoping there are more stories to come.
For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review...
Ms. Rogers is not a new to me author. In fact, quite the opposite... She is one of my favorite go to authors. She does a wonderful job at creating the worlds in which we dream of being in. She wraps you around and within her stories that you are afraid to put the book down - for fear of missing something. She is just that damn good.
I do have to get out the way the book starts off is a little bit confusing... But that could be a good thing because it made me go back and re read a few passages. Then once I got it.... It was smooth running after that.
This is the story of Kisri and Ennon. These two have watched each other over the years... War might have separated them but finding Kisri within his camp just brought all the reasons why he needs to, has to... bring her back to her cousin, the King. For the protection she needs... Not just from other men... But from himself.
Desire is thick, lust is stung tight and need is shared by two instead of just one. Kisri is looking for a little education and someone who is worthy of taming her... Ennon is looking for the right one to tame his heart and simmer his blood. Can the lion tame the lioness...? Can the lion teach the lioness a few things??
I hate to give to much away because this really is a short story, but Ms. Rogers just keeps us intrigued with the world of the lions. This is a great addition to Sabine... and I can't wait for the next one! That is a big hint there... Lol...
Aside from smexy good times, I can't really say there was much going on in this story.
Kisri, weary of men only trying to claim her because of what it would mean for their royal status, disguises herself with a charm as a soldier among Ennon's army. As soon as she is discovered, Ennon knows that duty obligates him to return Kisri, a Royal lioness and untouched virgin, to her cousin, the High Lord.
But Kisri has other plans... ones which would have Ennon teaching her how to sate her sexual desires. Ennon is up to the task, but can he tame Kisri's need and her heart, as well as his own?
Having not yet read a story with shifter Lions before, I was interested in giving this one a try. Turns out that there was not much of a difference between wolves, which I have read many stories about, and lions. I was kind of disappointed that more background wasn't given to distinguish them, make them unique among other types of two-natured, but I guess this story was more about the insta-love/romance between Ennon and Kisri.
The story was pretty much a PWP fantasy/erotic tale. It was a quick read without much build up in sexual tension or relationship development. The characters had typical stubborn yet coy traits, and did the whole denial of feelings dance until they reached their HEA.
There were a few times that I didn't think the dialogue or the characters' logic made a lot of sense, and the misunderstanding of feelings was so predictable that it was rather lackluster.
Though I liked the first book in the short story series better, I'd still say Kisri was a fun, mindless read. Great for a spark of safe yet erotic entertainment in between heavy novel reading.
Finding a woman in the midst of his army, Ennon has to deal with this situation. He is still supposed to be at war and leading his army. But most unexpected of all is the fact that this woman is a royal, one that throughout the years he's wanted but known was too high for him to reach.
He is now tasked with delivering her back to her family, after she has spent time fighting alongside soldiers. This lioness will put to the test his resolve during their journey.
Kisri knows once she goes back she will be forced or strongly encouraged to marry someone who will be the "appropriate" suitor for her. This time she has now with Ennon is the only time she might experience true desire for a man and be able to act on it.
As Ennon and Esri can't resist the attraction and pull that's there, he realizes she's more to him than just an occasional bed mate. She is his mate. And after mating her, he could never have another, will always feel her loss.
This story reminds me a lot of a fairytale in a way, I think that's my favorite part of reading this series. They are short stories, but with a great plot, with lots of romance, destined mates and hot sex. Could you really ask for more?
Although this book didn't have quite the same emotional impact as Sabine, I was more than thrilled with Kisri's story. Kisri is strong and sweetly innocent about the ways of men but she longs to be able to make the choice as to who she gives herself to. She wants someone strong enough to challenge her and win. Someone who won't be intimidated by her cousin's title or driven by greed to possess her.
Kisri and Ennon's relationship is intriguing. He's fiercely attracted to her yet he doesn't want to betray his High Lord's trust. She's finally found someone who she knows has the ability to take her, yet she's unsure of her own allure. Their agreement (for lack of a better word) to enter into a purely sexual relationship is sexy and sweet. The more Kisri learns under his tutelage, the more she realizes that Ennon is one of the few men who will ever accept her without trying to break her spirit.
Wonderfully written and sweet without ever dipping into sappy, Kisri's story is one that will leave you with a smile on your face. This is one happily-ever-after you won't want to miss.
I was excited to read more about the lion shifters that were only mentioned a couple of times in Sabine but sadly I didn't find them nearly as intriguing as I thought I would. The story opens with Kisri caught pretending to be a man in a troop of warriors traveling home. Lucky for her, the troop she's traveling with is the one lead by Ennon, her cousin's first Battle Lord. Ennon immediately recognizes Kisri and volunteers to personally escort her to her cousin.
In comparison to the first and third books in this series, Kisri didn't have a whole lot going on. Basically, the whole plot here is Kisri and Ennon take a lovely road trip home and have lots of sex along the way. There's nothing else going on. In fact, the only time they run across any problem is when they arrive home and even that is very mild. The lack of drama or external forces causing problems really made this one kind of...dull. Despite saying that, I was never really bored with the story. I just didn't get very into it.
Now that the war between shifters has ended, it's Ennon's job to make sure the High Lord's armies get home. A task made more challenging when the High Lord's favorite cousin, an untouched lioness, is found hiding among the soldiers. Kisri's hand and her significant inheritance have been fought over for too long and she seeks out the safety of her powerful last male relative. Ennon's orders have changed. He now must bring Kisri to his commander but keeping his hands, and paws, off her is easier said than done.
I didn't like this installment in the and the Beast series as much as I did the first one. It was entertaining, quick, and hot but Sabine had more fantasy elements to it and I missed that. Also, that solid connection between the hero and heroine wasn't quite there. Ennon and Kisri are both strong alphas in their own way and while they hit it out of the park when it came to the sex, that emotional, no one will dare stand in the way of our being together connection wasn't there.
In spite of my issues, Kisri is really easy to get through and like I said, I was entertained and it has a sweet ending. Worth the few dollars I spent on it. - Stephanie
Kisri is book 2 in Moira Rogers And the Beast series. I did not get the chance to read book 1 in the series, but I had no problem getting into the story at all. The setting is right after a major war, and Kisri, a royal lioness, has been trying to find her cousin (the High Lord), the last male relative she has. When Ennon, discovers Kisri in his camp, it becomes his responsibility to see Kisri safely to the High Lord. However, attraction grows between Kisri and Ennon, and Ennon may not be able to leave Kisri untouched.
This short novella was a touching, romantic read. Kisri is the kind of character I love, she is a tough, no nonsense lioness. She knows how to fight, how to protect herself, and she is a woman who knows her worth. The chemistry and the sparks hit Ennon and Kisri fast, and yet their relationship developed in a believable way. I also enjoyed that the characters are lion shifters, and Kisri is an amazing lioness.
My only critique is that this novella was short. I wanted to keep reading when the story came to an end. I will be eagerly awaiting more books from this series, and I am looking forward to reading more of Moira Roger’s work.
Kisri and the Beast was an enjoyable quickie, perfect for a beach read or sitting by the pool. Make sure to take an ice cold soda along to cool you down because this is one hot read. The story gets right of to a sizzlin' start introducing a savory male lion and a fiesty damsel (ala lioness) in distress. The story builds up momentum and heats up as it goes along, each love scene more scourching than the next. Kirsi is a bold character and her antics provide for a chuckle here and there between her and Ennon, the sexy male warlord who helps Kirsi find her wilder side before she is turned over to her cousin the High Lord and married off. Moira Rogers does a good job of packing a fantasy wartorn world filled with shape-shifters, sex and romance into a tight little novella. Kisri is the second in the series and can be read as a stand alone. Definitly looking forward to reading the first in the series, Sabine and the Beast.
I enjoyed book2 of the …and the Beast series and am torn if I’m happy the series is discontinued or not. I found book one cumbersome and haven’t yet gone back to finish it. This one gives a brief synopsis of the series itself before going on with this short story, which I had no problems delving right into.
Kisri the untamable is the High Lords favorite cousin and though desired by many is also the unattainable as she has no intention of being bound to one of her many greedy suitors. So what’s a girl to do – I know go to war under an illusion char that ill convinces everyone she is a man while she searches for her one male relative that can help her. I wonder if anyone ever told them were-lion play would make Kisri & Ennon fall for each other.
I want to begin by saying that I haven't read anything written by these two ladies that I haven't liked, some more than others - but all are well written and entertaining.
Kisri is no exception. i enjoyed the story. Ennon is fantastic - yet another Moira Rogers male character that makes me wish that they could maybe actually exist! Kisri is strong, independent, wild, and fighting to be in charge of her own destiny.
There is enough back story to let you know what has been going on. There is enough steamy sex to make a girl blush, and enough fun and emotion to leave the reader hoping to find that one person who makes them feel complete.
As with any novella - I always wish they were longer because I want to keep reading.
I loved this novella, and I love Moira Rogers' writing. I liked this one a little better than Sabine, but just a smidgen. I love the shifters, and the sex is amazingly well-written. I was told that there are two more stories coming in this series so I am very excited about that.
My only issue stems from a personal ick of mine and that is the fact that Kisri is a virgin and a main plot point involves taking her virginity. It is very well-written, and I won't let my personal icks get in the way of a very well written story. Also, I would have rated it higher, if it was longer, because I wanted more! :)
I love short reads like this! I have days where I need to read something fast just because I need a happy ending to make my day feel better. This definitely did that for me. I managed to read it within a couple of hours, which was exactly what I had wanted. There was love and conflict and the sex was pretty good too! The characters were well thought out and there was enough action to keep me interested. I’ll definitely be looking forward to another story in this series and I very much hope there will be more!
A great edition to this series by Moira Rogers. Though it doesn't pack the same emotional punch that Sabine, the first book in the series, did, it nevertheless creates a stirring scenario and by the end you are routing for this couple to get together. A thoroughly enjoyable read, it's found a place on my to-reread shelf.
I have to say if you want a short delightful book, then pick-up Kisri by Moria Rogers. It’s sure to heat up your summer nights. To read this review in its entirety, please visit http://www.blackravensreviews.com/?p=...
Once again, Moira has created a wonderful, fun story! I really enjoyed reading about Kisri gaining her mate. Kisri is a sexy, sensual romp, and the perfect short beach read! I highly recommend!
