Phase 1: Dream - God puts an exciting dream in your heart.

Phase 5: Dead Ends - Your situation becomes impossible.

This was easy to read in a little over an hour. There was nothing groundbreaking, but it called me back to truths I know amidst my own season of dreaming/delay/dead ends. It’s helpful to remind ourselves of what we know to be true, and this book put into words the things I’ve been thinking about and praying through. The first chapter was really more of an introduction, so stick with it and keep reading because it gets better!

I received this book as part of a Goodreads giveaway.

While this was an interesting book and a quick read it seemed to be very similar to many others in the same genre. This is an addition to the genre of books, How to Find God in Your Life or Follow the Path God has for Your Life or Listening to God, etc., etc. The good news is this a quick read so for someone who just needs a quick pick me up or reminder of God’s dreams for their life this is a great book. On the other hand, if you are looking for something more in depth this is not the book for you.

Created To Dream was a much needed read for me! I have struggled with some aspects of my faith in the past and have been working on my relationship with God. I have gotten to a decent point in my relationship and this book was exactly what I needed to help move it forward! While there is nothing too jaw dropping about its content, it is a book that will prompt a lot of self-reflection. I loved it!

I could not recommend this book more!!! Read it. Read it. Read it. Buy it for a friend or family member and then read it again.

I listened to it entirely, but plan on buying it so I can underline and have it forever. I think it would be the perfect book to read and reread in different phases of life. It is such a powerful reminder that God is constantly working on our character and has far better plans for us than we could ever imagine.

For such a small book, Created To Dream: The 6 Phases God Uses to Grow Your Faith packs a powerful punch! Rick Warren outlines six phases that God uses to grow our faith.

Your dreams profoundly shape your identity, your happiness, your achievements, and your fulfillment.

I thought Created to Dream was powerful, convicting (anyone else stop dreaming?!), and filled with spiritual, godly wisdom. I highlighted at least half the book! While it is a quick read, I read and savored it slowly.

Great faith inspires great dreams. Great dreams require great faith.

One thing I appreciated about this book, is the abundant use of Scripture that the author uses to solidify his points.

When God wants to work in your life, he gives you a dream about what he wants you to do and the impact he wants you to have in the world.

We all have a purpose for being here. If you have not found yours or you have lost your ability to dream, might I suggest picking up a copy of this little book and seeing if it doesn't help point you in the right direction? It is one I will return to again and again.

A short (133 pages), inspirational book written by Rick Warren for Zondervan Publishers. In Created to Dream, Pastor Warren explains how God uses our goals and dreams to build our character. While the first part of the book moved a bit slow for me, the last half made up for it. There were a lot of takeaways.

Pastor Warren uses abundant and appropriate Bible references throughout the book, which includes footnotes at the end. There is also a Q&A ‘study guide’ section. 4.5 stars from me

I enjoyed this book by Rick Warren and I think it can be very helpful for young adult.
The book details the 6 phases you may go through as a christian to reach your destiny.
1) You receive a dream
2)Decision to go after the dream
3) Delays
4)Difficulties
5)Dead ends
6) Deliverance
It reminds us that God uses our circumstances to teach us, form our character for what He has in store for us and no matter the difficulties God is in control and it's important to trust him.
