Madeline Monroe is a reporter who is assign to do a fluff piece on Mr. McCoy's 70th birthday party, but she knows that with the death of his oldest son and the announcements of a couple of his "lost grandsons" there was just more to the story then what they are telling the public. She knows that if she can get the info then she will prove what a hard reporter she can be. She sets her sights on Alexander McCoy. The man she love years ago who broke her heart. When Alex sees Maddy he gets more then mad. For she had use him years ago to get her job and now he "just knows" shes going to try to use him again to get more family dirt . But everytime he sees her he wants her more. Can these two get pass what they believed happen years ago and now so they can have a future or is all hope lost.
